Kentucky and Grandparents.

We arrived on the helipad in my grandparents backyard. I unbuckled my seat belt and got out of the helicopter. I looked around, taking it all in. I ran around to the front door and knocked. "I hope they're home!"

I studied her with a smile, following closely with the luggage. I had jusy set her suitcase down before the door opened."Who's this helicopter?!"yeled an old man, probably Cecelia's grandfather, before ntoicing the girl on his doorstep

"Poppa!" I hugged my grandfather. "Is Nana home?" I grinned wildly. "Oh. Poppa, this is Andrew. He's my friend I met at," I hesitated, "Camp." I looked at Andrew and grinned, like it was a private joke between us. And in a way, it was. Poppa told us to come in the house and sit down, and there indeed was Nana, sitting on the couch, sipping her tea. "Hi Nana!" I gave her an enthusiastic hug.

I followed the younger girl in quietly, deciding not to interupt her unless I had to. I politely shook the man's extended hand and set her suitcase on the floor."Hello. I'm Andrew"I waved at her grandmother witha small smile

I asked my grandparents if we could make some tea. Nana nodded and stood up. They all sat down at the kitchen table and I made some tea. "So.. What've you guys been up to? I haven't seen you in forever!" I asked my grandparents. They told me not much, then asked Andrew to talk about himself.

I blushed slightly and stared at my hands."Well... There is not much to tell... I'm 18 and I'm Cecelia's friend... And apparently driver"I teased the young girl and reached out to ruffle her hair

I ducked out of the way of his outstretched hand. "Well, he's become my only friend at camp. I don't really make friends easily. We met by the..." I hesitated, trying not to give away anything. "lake. By the lake." I gave Andrew an apologetic look.

I shrugged and nodded. "Sure. Awesome lke. Generaly the scenery there is breathtaking. The keepers have done an awesome job taking care of the place"I said and grinned

I snickered at our little inside joke. I mouthed "Harpies?" I bit the inside of my lip. "So, what've you guys been up to? I missed you so much!"

I sat comfortably on the chair as I heard her grandparent's going on and on about their life. Soon our tea was ready and I found myself drinking the most delicious and fragrant tea I had ever since I left home.

I stood up and poured tea for everyone. "Hey Poppa. Would it be okay if we stayed here for a couple nights. I know you have the room." I saw my Nana's horrified look. " and we could stay in separate rooms." She sighed relief and nodded.

I tried to hide a chuckle as they talked about the rooms. Eventually, her grandfather stood up and led us upstairs. My room was facing Cecelia's and I smirked at the irony of that. After wishing us good night,he left, allowing me to enter her room in order to put her suitcase down."Your grandparents are cool"

"They're oblivious. They'll keep thinking my dad is some old cheap shot who ditched after the first date, and left my Mom to deal with this." I gestured to myself. I turned him around and ushered him out of my room. "Goodnight Andrew. Don't let the bedbugs bite!" I winked. I walked back into my room, closed the door, and went to bed.

I laughed and waved, waiting until the door was closed. I then turned and went in my room, only realising how exhaustef I was when I fell asleep as soon as I fell on the bed, not even bothering to change my clothes

OOC: Time Lapse of 3 days?

BIC: I changed into my pajamas, and got out my book to read. I read for a while, then snuggled into bed.

I opened her door and jumped on her bed, grinning widely."Cece! Cece! Wake up"I yelled in her face

I attempted to push him off, but was no match. "What?!" I groaned. "It's too early for enthusiasm." I grunted and tried to push him off the bed again. I succeeded.

I yelped as I landed on the floor and looked up with a kicked-puppy expresion on my face."You don't want me"I whined

I rolled my eyes. "You fell out of a tree. You're fine." I yawned. "What'd you want?"

I pouted and sniffed."You're a meany. I won't tell you"I said in my baby voice and crossed my arms

I got out of bed and stood in my (thankfully) modest pajamas. I gave him the puppy-dog eyes and mimicked his voice. I stomped my foot and pouted, "Secrets secrets are no fun. Secrets secrets could hurt someone!" I laughed.

"Don't mock me!"I exclaimed and glared at her.

I tried to keep a straight face but I couldn't keep it up anymore. I grinned and then laughed. "Okay, but seriously, what do you want?" I helped him up off the floor.

I smirked and raised an eyerbow."What do I get for telling you?"I asked challengingly and leaned against her wall, my arms loosely crossed over my chest

I rolled my eyes. "How about my love and affection, and breakfast." I raised my eyebrows expectantly.
