I took in the smell of the books and opened my eyes as they widened. "What a place to find by mistake," breathed to myself. I look all around, trying to decide where to start.

When I wasn't training, doing chores or hanging out with friends, I usually spent time either in my secret (read: private) room under my bunk bed or reading up on stuff here in the library. Now it's not like the libraries you know: sure there are some modern books and what not, but generally you can find papyri and parchment scrolls, even old wax tablets and carefully preserved clay documents chiseled with linear B, the oldest form of ancient Greek. When I came here I usually took a scroll or two about monster fighting techniques or myths about heroes so old most had forgotten them, though today I took out a papyrus about mythological plants. I had to read up on them since some of the plants listed in Circe's book didn't even appear in the Internet when I googled them. So here I was, selecting the scrolls of papyrus when I suddenly bumped into another girl.
"Oh gods, so sorry!" I whispered.

Naturally, Aria was here doing research. After all, one of her favorite place's was the library. Taking a book off the shelf written in ancient greek, Aria took a seat. Opening the book, she began to read.

"Oh!" I look at the girl who bumped into me and giggle, "Oh, that's fine! I was spacing anyway, so thanks!" I whispered. I snicker, wrinkling my nose a bit. I look the girl over from head to toe and back again. I lean in closer, sniffing lightly. Then I lean back again and smile, my eyes wide, "You smell friendly!" I giggle again.

Wow, that weirded me out a bit. I wasn't used to people sniffing me. I didn't smell too bad, now did I?
"Friendly?" I asked. "Excuse me but how can you smell friendliness?"
I caught sight of Aria, from the Athena's, and briefly waved at her. I was dressed in one of my orange camp tees with black denim shorts and sneakers, my leather bracelet around my wrist and a small wallet chain attached to my waist-- I had stolen it from Salem, shh. My dark hair fell over my shoulders and today, in contrary to my habit, I had left my brown eyes normal-looking.
"Friendly?" I asked. "Excuse me but how can you smell friendliness?"

I shrug and chuckle a bit, "Don't know, just always could!" I lick my lips before grinning big, wrinkling my nose, "I'm Kat."

"Um alright then. Who's your god parent?"
Maybe it was a Grace? I didn't really see who else could give their kids the ability to "smell" attitudes. Or personalities. Felt like talking with Ben, except Ben didn't sniff me.

"Aphrodite," I say in a strange, spacy voice as my eyes drift off and I twirl my hair, "I probably should have turned out prettier though, you know what I'm saying?" I let out a small laugh followed by a blatant snort, "Whose yours?"

The girl was a bit weird in my opinion but not in a negative way. "Aphrodite's cool. Are you gonna make me fall in love with someone?" I joked.

I hold up my hands, my fingers glowing a bright pink color, "Only if you're interested in me." I wink and giggle. I was kidding, but it maybe didn't come off that way. I put my hands down and they go back to normal, "Just kidding," I smirk.

Aria waved back shyly to Morgan, though she was still enveloped in her book, taking in all the information a bit to seriously perhaps. However, she did over hear the girl's conversation. Now when the moment did come, they could skip the awkward faze of having to ask the Aphrodite's child's name.

"I'm not kidding," I joked back, wriggling my eyebrows. "Sorry I didn't catch your name, what was it?"

"Well, to be honest, I was a bit lost," I laugh a little bit, "I'm kind of new here, ya see...So I was wandering around, trying to be adventurous. Luckily, I found the library though! Which I love."
