    Ferrofox Accendo Red Allison_harvard____by_turntechgodheadsr-d68vsbe

Name: Ferrofox Accendo Red. Her first name is a combination of ferret and fox, her father's two favorite animals. Coincidentally, she does tend to reflect properties of these animals, with her love for pleasing people and her cute, as some might say, childish personality, along with her shy and small, introverted personality, preferring to hide and dart away rather than start something. However, her name, though it is a stretch, could be taken to mean iron fox, as ferro indicates something containing iron. Her middle name, accendo, is the latin word for illuminate or to rouse up, kindle, or inflame. Her last name, Red, is, well nothing more than the color, one of the three primary colors, actually. Because her name is such a mouthful, she'll usually go by some nickname. Though she's most commonly known as Ferro, she also goes by Fox, Red, Rofo, or Cendo.

    Gender: Female

    Mortal Parent: Geoffrey Red

God Parent: Mnemosyne, the titan of memory and language

Date of Birth: July 12, 1997, meaning that she is 17.

    Place of Birth: Venice, Italy

    Hometown/Last Residence: Boston, Massachusetts

Race/ethnicity: French, Italian, Russian, Irish, Swedish, and Czechoslovakian.

Accent: Ferro has a bit of a mix of accents, though mainly it's a muted French, only occasionally coming out on specific words. At first, when you start talking to her, you might notice something a bit off, but it'll take you a few sentences to hear it again and actually catch it.

Skin Tone: Ferro here has a pretty pale skin tone, and doesn't tan very easily, though she burns very quickly. She does have a warm undertone, and naturally occurring dark circles that actually have little to nothing to do with her sleep patterns, but rather are a product of her Italian heritage.

Eye Color: Ferro's eyes are a bright blue, and they're probably the most prominent feature about her. She has what most would call "doe eyes", and the color stands out greatly in comparison to her light skin and blonde hair.

Hair Color: Ferro's hair is naturally a medium brown. She dyes it frequently, however. Most of the time, she'll dye it to a very light blonde, but she's also been know to color it any type of pastel, her favorites being a light pink and a silvery blue.

Hair Length: Ferro's hair is naturally wavy, and kept at no more than 26 inches, though she often forgets to get it cut on time.

Height: Ferro stands at a small 5'3.

Weight: Ferro weighs 97-105 pounds, though this usually balances out pretty well.

Body Type: Ferro has a very boyish body type, and, seeing how small she is, she often looks very childish.

Appearance: Ferro, overall, has a small and innocent-looking appearance, one that goes well with her personality. Between her large eyes, small frame, and somewhat-weak stature, most people have an automatic urge to protect her. She often is mistaken for a twelve year old, not that she minds very much. She goes with simple clothing, usually a sweatshirt and denim shorts or skinny jeans, and prefers to wear shirts that are too big for her, as she finds them warmer and easier to hide in. Her makeup routine is minimal, only using some foundation, blush, light lip gloss, and occasionally mascara. When it comes to shoes, she opts for some form of boots, whether they be heeled, leather, cowboy, or booties. Her favorites, though, are fur-lined. With accessories, she doesn't choose much, except for the occasional rubber band bracelet or braided leather anklet. She isn't much about upkeep, but she does make sure to keep herself from looking too bad, making sure to brush her hair and put on some kind of makeup. Her roots, though, are one example of where she lets things like this slip by, as they usually tend to show when she goes a while between dyes.

Weapon: Ferro isn't much of a fighter, but not because she's bad. She just doesn't enjoy the idea of fighting people. She's a bit more of a peacekeeper, really. When she must fight, however, she owns a 4 foot celestial bronze extendable razorwhip, as well as a bow and 12 celestial bronze arrows. These weapons are both concealed in the form charms on a charm bracelet, and return to her if she loses them after 15 minutes.

Armor: As stated before, Ferro doesn't fight much, but for events such as capture the flag, she just uses the standard Camp armor. It is pretty ill-fitting, though, as she is unnaturally small.

Pet(s): Ferro has a pet nanday conure, given to her as a gift from some of the researchers. His name is Phoenix.

Skills/Talents: Ferro is very skilled at cheering others up. She's also very good at breaking up fights and calming others down. She has a very simplistic mindset, and never really overthinks things. She's a fast, nimble runner, and very good at math, reading, and science. She is a talented singer and dancer, and enjoys music, though she can't play an instrument to save a life. She's also very good at caring for animals.

Flaws: Ferro is very sweet, and can't stand to see people hurt. When people are hurt, she tends to blame herself, even if she had nothing to do with the incident. She can't stand blood or gore, and has a pretty weak stomach. She's way too dependent on others, and even though she's a bit of a loner, she'll latch onto her friends near immediately. She takes things at face value, and she's not very good at hiding her emotions. She doesn't do well with fighting, and can get frustrated with herself when she can't stop a fight from breaking out. She's pretty childish, and kind of sensitive. She has pointy ears that she usually tries to hide behind her hair.

Strengths: Ferro is an overall happy person, and doesn't ever really focus too much on her problems. She can usually be caught alone in nature somewhere, happily humming some tune and cloud gazing. While she'll never be the first to say something, she does enjoy talking to people, especially people she's never met, and can make even the worst issues seem a world away. She's very giving and kind, and will always put others before herself.

Weaknesses: Ferro as very bad when comes to any type of instrument, and isn't an amazing fighter, due to the fact that she's out of practice. She's not very artistically talented, and pretty much everything she draws or paints looks like a potato.

Likes: The outdoors, helping others, peace, laughing, smiling, singing, making others feel better, chocolate, reading, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, pretty much all berries, kids, babies, animals, nature, rainy days, fires, old, historic things and places, using her imagination

Dislikes: Yogurt, fights, anger, sunburn, blood, gore, horror, disappointing people, selfish people, mean people

Fears: Hurting people, shots/needles, being stabbed or impaled, not being able to stop fights/tragedies

Personality: Ferro is a kind, sweet, free-spirited soul who loves to act as if the world is absolutely perfect. She lives for helping others, and nothing pains her more than seeing people hurt. She has an insane amount of empathy for people, and loves to make them feel better. She may seem very childish and immature, which, admittedly, she is, but she also has a great supply of strength to her. She can go through struggles and the entire time be pushing herself through just so she can help someone else. She has enough confidence to give everything she has if it comes to it, enough trust in humanity to not ask any questions before helping someone the first time they ask. She is very childish, though, and tends to take things at face value. She's not dumb, and is, in fact, very smart, but had the mind of a ten year old. In her opinion, she'd prefer chasing butterflies, watching clouds, or making friends with the animals to fighting, studying, or debating politics. She loves to have fun, and nothing makes her happier than arousing the same child-like spirit out of others.

    Powers:
Viewing Memories- Ferro has the power to view other people's memories. She can do this without their permission, though it is easier for her if they are willing. She must be no more than five feet away from them. She will have access to their memories for up to 10 minutes, and she can view whatever snippets she pleases during that time. However, with each passing minute, the memories get blurrier and harder to understand. The person can resist this power by forcefully bringing up a painful memory and focusing on that. When this happens, Ferro will be forced out and left as drained as she would've been had she spent the full 10 minutes. She can do this twice a day. If she goes over this limit, she will become extremely drowsy and occasionally sick. The cooldown time for this power is 15 minutes.

Sharing Memories- This power has the same limitations as viewing memories, however, this means that other people may see the memories she's viewing as well. She can do this twice a day, but it will only last seven minutes. She can only share the memories of those she is within ten feet of. Only people she remains in physical contact with will be affected (up to eight people), and all will receive minor negative effects afterwards (headache, fatigue, etc.).

Replacing or Erasing Memories- Ferro also has the power to temporarily erase memories or change them. She must be within three feet of the owner if the memories. She can do this three times a day. Each memory will be erased or changed for thirty minutes. The cooldown time for this power if forty five minutes.

Extracting Memories- Ferro can extract other people's memories with their permission. She can do this once a week. It drains her a lot, not so much physically but more emotionally. After extracting the memories, she can store them for later viewing. Once the memory is extracted, the person will no longer have that memory, but they will remember her taking it. The memories remain in the state they were in at the moment she extracted them. So no, she can't damage them after extracting them, at least not without using her other powers to replace or change the memory, then extract it before the change was undone. They can be reinserted into the person's head, though, once again, they must be fully willing.

Language Cursing- Ferro can curse people to talk in a different language for 45 minutes. She must be no more than fifteen feet away from the target. She can do this four times a day. There's a cooldown time of one hour for this power.

    Abilities:
Understanding Languages- Ferro can understand any language, including code and sign language. The words are automatically translated for her. She can also speak any language naturally.

Eidetic Memory- Ferro remembers nearly everything past her sixth birthday. She can pull this knowledge out on a whim. She will even be reminded by these things just from a short three seconds of music that was played during that time.

Social Status: She's a bit of a loner, seeing how most people think she's pretty weird.

Summer or Year Rounder: Year-rounder, though she does enjoy going back to France often.

    Years at Camp: 5

Life Before Camp: Ferro was born on a warm summer day in Venice, Italy. Her father was a well-off man, not too rich and not too poor, and was so thrilled by the news of his daughter's birth that he nearly screamed with joy. This feeling didn't last long, though, as he soon was informed that his beautiful wife and mother to his only daughter would be leaving him. He fell into a depression, and, hoping to improve on this issue with a change of scenery, ripped up their roots and moved to France. Ferro was only nine months old at the time.

Ferro  grew up in France, and loved it dearly. She loved to walk down the streets and just imagine the history that lay beneath her feet. She didn't make very many friends, though. Kids would call her weird or crazy because she twirled around chasing butterflies instead of gossiping and planning sleepovers. She didn't care

When Ferro was nine, her father's depression grew worse. It had always been bad, but Ferro knew something was wrong. It had just hit it's worse point, when on a particularly rainy afternoon, her father was still in his bedroom. That was odd. He was usually out to greet her after school, to ask how her day had been.

Ferro sensed trouble and slowly put her backpack down, crawling towards her fathers room. When she opened the door, she found his lifeless body swinging from a rope. She screamed loudly, in tears, falling to the floor shaking. The neighbors heard the shriek and came over, banging on the door, before calling police. It took Ferro at least two hours to reach the door and open it.

After her father's death, Ferro was sent to an orphanage. She tried to stay happy, but it was so odd. And it didn't help that every day she seemed to be getting farther and farther from other kids. She'd recently discovered her ability to see other's memories. And she wasn't the only one.

Before long, the heads of the orphanage began receiving reports of Ferro giving other kids pitying glances or knowing things they hadn't told her. The heads were dumbstruck at what to do, until they heard news of a research center for physiological phenomena in Boston. Ferro was shipped off quickly. She was only 10.

When she reached the facility, she was greeted by nice men in lab coats. They asked her if she knew any cool tricks. She nodded, and when they asked her to show them, she obeyed. She was immediately given a room at the facility and a schedule for daily tests with suction cups placed on her head that reminded her of tentacles.

After being poked and prodded for two years, the scientists had found nothing. She didn't mind too much, though. She was happy, as always. One day, a man in a repairmans outfit walked into her room. She regarded him with curiosity, until the man revealed himself to be a satyr, who had snuck in under the false pretense of being a plumber come to update some of the old water fountains. That night, after explaining what he could to her, they snuck out of the facility. The quickly made their way to camp.

    Role-playing Example:
It was a warm day. The kind of day that Ferro just loved. She sat next to the strawberry fields, occasionally sneaking a berry off of the plants. She was dressed in a college sheath shirt, denim shorts, and flip flops. She leaned back against the ground, watching the clouds move above her. A large tree shaded her pale skin without blocking the view. Occasionally, a bird would flit above Her and she'd laugh joyously. She began humming and old French tune as a large bunny-shaped cloud rolled above her. She couldn't imagine why anyone would want to miss this. Especially for something silly like training!

    Powers:
    - How far away could she be at most from her victim in order to use the first, second, third, and last powers?
    - For memory sharing, for up to how many people can she project the memories to?
    - For extraction, can they be damaged or reinserted into the person's head?

    LBC:
    - How did the satyr get into the facility, exactly?

    Powers:

-The first requires that they be at most five feet apart from each other, the second at most ten feet, the third three feet, and the last fifteen feet.

    -Up to eight, including herself.

-They remain in the state they were in at the moment she extracted them. So no, she can't damage them after extracting them, at least not without using her other powers to replace or change the memory, then extract it before the change was undone. They can be reinserted into the person's head, though, once again, they must be fully willing.

    LBC:

    - Stealing an ID badge of one of the researchers. Because their were so many researchers, the security didn't notice that this one was out of place or unfamiliar. After that, it was just the simple matter of scanning the badge to enter her room.

Editing all this in right now.

    LBC:
    - When did Mnemosyne leave Ferro and her father?
    - What did the researchers think of her abilities?
    - Not being recognized by security seems like a bit of a stretch, imo -- wouldn't the ID card show the owner's picture or a researcher see that the satyr was not one of them?

-She left 5 months after Ferro's birth

-The researchers all had different theories on her powers, some insisting on some of the older ones such as William James and his comparison of the brain to a prism. There were holes in these theories, though, and none of what they came up with ever seemed completely accurate. They were in the middle of a theory involving Einstein's interpretation of time, something pretty closely related to precognition, but instead of seeing the future, she could see the past.

-True, that would be a bit of a stretch. Maybe the satyr looked a lot like the researcher? If that wouldn't work, what about woodland magic?

    - We only let gods stay for up to a week after the child's birth.
    - Not sure woodland magic would help to disguise him too well -- but I'm sure the researchers would need, say, janitors or delivery people or repairmen at some point? He could have snuck in that way.
