Re: Target Practice
I walk in and fit an arrow to my bow. I aim at the target and shoot. I hit the ring outside the center.

Re: Target Practice
"Yeah," I said looking at the girl that came in. "Just try and hold as still as possible, and then shoot, but don't pull it back then shoot. Hold it there for a couple of seconds to help aim, and then when it looks right, release the arrow," I said scratching my head. I wouldn't know what to do if that didn't work.

Re: Target Practice
I nodded, notching the bow. Trying to follow his advice, I aimed for the middle of the target, trying to hold still after I did so. Preparing myself, I held my breath and fired at the middle of the target. It swerved off a little and hit one of the outer rings, a few inches from the middle. "Well... that was better."

Re: Target Practice
"Yeah," I said and nodded. I looked down the range and saw where he hit. I looked back at him, "Just keep practicing, and you'll soon be hitting that bull's eye almost everytime," I said, with another nod.

Re: Target Practice
I walk in quietly, and pick a target board that was vacant, not saying a word. I join the two puzzle pieces together, getting a longbow that fit into my hands, and a bag of arrows in the other. I slung the bag over my shoulder. I had a mix of arrows. A kind for target practicing so I wouldn't excessively damage the boards, and another kind for combat use. I notch an arrow for practicing, and try my best at aim. I hesitated, then released, flinching slightly. The arrow landed at the rim of the blue on the left of the board. You could tell I needed more practice.

Re: Target Practice
I nodded, seeing a girl somewhere nearby out of the corner of my eye. I looked at the guy in the wheelchair-- if I'd gotten his name before, I failed to remember it-- and nodded, notching another arrow. "Well, hopefully this won't be very necessary.... I don't like using projectile weapons often, but it's good to learn how to use 'em."

Re: Target Practice
My bow still in hand, I lowered it. Just relax, Jennie. I put my bow to position, notch another arrow, and this time without hesitation, I released. I made little improvement, this time the arrow landing still in the blue, but near the red. I quickly glance at a guy in a wheelchair, then frowned. I notch another arrow, I hoped nobody was noticing me, or watching me practice. I just liked to blend in, not being noticed, because I didn't want to talk to anyone, being shy. After practicing for a while, I collect my arrows and leave.

Re: Target Practice
I walked up to the targets. I whispered to my self "How could i be a daughter of Apollo? I'm just suposed to believe? I picked up a bow and arrow, it felt... right like i could control it like i've done this before i shot a bow, it landed on the the line dividing the blue and red. I didnt beleive what I had just done. I droped the bow and arrow and ran away leaving the arrow in the target.

OOC: You didn't leave the lake :/ Your charrie can't be at more than one place at once. You have to say in your post if your character enters or leaves...

"Yeah, you know, just in case that's all you have to use," I said scratching my head. I watched some people leave and then watched him notch the arrow, trying to see what he was doing wrong and how he could improve.

Re: Target Practice
I furrowed my eyebrow and aimed the arrow at the bulls-eye, holding still and inhaling through my nose. I held still for a moment, aiming, then fired. The arrow flew through the air and hit a spot about an inch above the bulls-eye. "Shoot. That was close."

Jana Kay walked out of the Arena, and walked over to the Archery range. She took a bow and a quiver and looked for someone of the Apollo cabin.

Re: Target Practice
Jana Kay watched the girl making faultless shots. After she had finished, she walked over to her.
"Wow, impressing, Amy.", she said. "Can you teach me a bit? You know I'm not very good at it."

Re: Target Practice
OOC: A little advice for you. It's best to Rp like you're writing a book so when your character is speaking it's best to use quotes.
BIC: Amy jumped her focus broken. "I um yeah but as you can see I'm out of practice." She said and shrug. It was taking all her mental energy to focus on practicing so that she wouldn't slip into a day dream.

Re: Target Practice
ooc: I'm sorry but actually I have the french kind of writing, and in France when we speak, we wright it like that. But I'll edit it if it does bother you.
bic: Jana Kay laughed.
"Out of practice? Damn, you're on of the best archers I've ever seen!"

OOC: Well I just figured it would be eaiser seeing is that's how everybody posts here but I'm okay with whatever your most comfortable.
BIC: Amy blushed deeply. "I- Well thank you" I said. "I've been here ever since I was fourteen so I imagined I would have improved." She said and smiled. "I'm Amy and you?"

Re: Target Practice
Jana watched her aim, and do a faultless shot, like always. She clapped her hands.
"Wow." she said again. She took her bow and an arrow, and shot. It missed the inner circle by a only a few.
