Gwen's Bunk (Aeolus)

"You don't think a lot of things through." Her lip quivered and she sat down. "I can't believe I keep falling for you and your crap." She put her head in her hands.

"Here's a hint you don't talk about every girl you've been with in the middle of a moment." Gwen lifted her head from her hands "You don't treat me like a disposable object. I'm a person I have feelings." She frowned at Shrike "I'm sorry I want this to go somewhere. If you don't see us being anyything more please leave." there was a hint of tears welling in her eyes "I don't want to go through this torture anymore."

"I didn't ask you to fall hopelessly in love with me." Gwen paused "Pinky promise?" She just wanted to at least try with Shrike after all her terrible past relationships.

That made Gwen smile "What did the poor cupcake do?" and just like that she was back to her normal cheerful self. "Shrike I'm willing to give this a try. I'll show you what a real relationship is like. If you like it you can ask me out and if you don't you can leave no hard feelings." Gwen was being completely honest with Shrike and more than generous considering his behavior. "I know you're not really what you seem. Behind your childish behavior there is a sweet guy with a great sense of humor and I'm gunna bring his out of the shadows." Gwen was great at helping people and she was determined to help Shrike whether they ended up together or not.

"I won't tell anyone Shrike I'm not like that. I appreciate you trusting me with your secret." Gwen was curious if Shrike was like a mortal without it but she didn't ask. "Can we sit and talk? We've known eachother for awhile but I barely know you." She cared about Shrike and wanted to know more about him.

OOC: Its worse, he basically loses all but the most vital energy in his body, rendering him completely immobile and prone.

Shrike nodded and prepared himself for the questions.

"Sure, ask away. Although you will allow me to keep a few of my more personal secrets."

"I'm not going to ask you can tell me what you want to than ask me questions. You already divulged something something very personal." Gwen didn't want to pry since Shrike seemed like a private person.

"Funny you think i'd be the one to ask inappropriate questions..." she cleared her throat "Umm where are you from? What was your childhood like?" That should get the conversation going.

"Wow that's amazing!" Gwen's full attention was fixed on Shrike "I grew up on an island off the coast of Maine with my mom. It was a really close knit community. Our house is really just a cottage in the middle of a meadow. My mom one of the sweetest people alive. She has always been there for me through all my tough times cheering me up, she attended all my events, and she actually was a big help in learning to control my powers." Gwen smiled a bit homesick.

"Don't get me wrong I love travel and I want to see the world. That was just how I spent my childhood, I've traveled since the." Gwen watched as Shrike paced around her room "You never thought to learn control of you powers?" she was a bit baffled by that.

"I can help you if you like. I've been training my whole life. I'm an award wining gymnast, runner, and kick boxer." Gwen was more than willing to help Shrike train, and learn some discipline along the way.

"Well that just takes practice I could do that if I fought with a sword but it slows me down. I could show you how to." Gwen smiled with glee at the exciting task. "Oh! I know someone you can spar with once you learn how to do that too."

"My friend Roxy she has a fire sword. She's a bit of a pyro." Gwen laughed remembering the time she and Roxy almost lit the forest on fire.
