Re: Character Powers Discussion topic
You'll have to be more specific -- if you mean something like controlling a person's body via their blood like blood bending in ATLA or extracting it against their will probably not.

Not like that, I mean using their own blood (or some they have collected and carry around with them) to cast spells, power themselves, etc.

I suppose that's okay? As long as you don't intend to try making his spells more powerful than they should be with the blood or such.

What powers would be allowed for a child of Feronia?

Re: Character Powers Discussion topic
Well, I got a descendant of Feronia myself, but her powers are coupled with Neptune's too so that they're about natural disasters. A child of only Feronia...ability to communicate with wildlife, minor healing powers, minor plant growth?

Re: Character Powers Discussion topic
So if someone was making a decedent of a god/dess that has some control over locks and stuff, could the character be able to summon a key for any lock (padlock, keypad, card-based lock, vault, so on), but could only be done once in a RP (due to a massive cooldown period)?

Re: Character Powers Discussion topic
Sorry for the late response, but here's a list off the top of my head for Athena abilities/powers:
Abilities:
- Speaking to Athena's sacred animal(s)
- Learning battle techniques or, basically, anything easier/faster than average
Powers:
- Summoning owls to do their bidding
- Temporary increase in their own intelligence (usually means they can process things faster, like increased reading speed)
- Temporary increase in battle prowess/technique learning? (To a smaller degree than Ares' and other war gods' kids probably)
[Notably, Athena kids don't usually have powers. Contact me or another admin/approver if you have an idea outside of a form and we'll check it out.]

Hi! Would Lampads be allowed? They're underworld nymphs, but I don't see them mentioned in the nymphs/naiads master list...(:

Re: Character Powers Discussion topic
I think I put somewhere that Lampads along with sky nymphs, star nymphs, Pleiades, etc were not allowed. Sorry.
Children of Nike could manipulate the odds in a competition or make someone more competitive. But you're free to be creative with the powers and come up with your own!

Yes!
And to answer your question, Catronus, maenads are actually more seen as monsters. They were certainly described as such in the Demigod Files, so I'd say no, apologies.

Ahh, yeah, that does make sense. Well, last question - apologies if I'm bugging you - but are Cocythian nymphs allowed? Basically underworld naiads? You see, I had my mind set on making a sort of underworld-ish nymph, but if that's not OK I'll resort to something else(:

Well the thing is... since they stay in the Underworld all the time... I don't really see how you'd RP them?

Re: Character Powers Discussion topic
I was thinking that they'd visit camp every now and then - from what I've read it appears that nymphs don't have to stay in their "natural" habitat at all times (depends on the type of nymph of course; I would guess it's not the case with dryads or the like), as nymphs often were part of a certain god's retinue and stuff, but if you think that's too far of a stretch then I'm cool with that.

I remember how Juniper got really weak when she got too far away from her tree? I don't remember if it was weakness but something bad happened to her.

For a child of Apollo, would Audiokinesis be OP? Like Will Solace can make a high-pitched whistle that can confuse his opponents.
