This still drains his power reserves though.

This looks approvable too, just what exactly do you understand under full battle armor? A Greek hoplite armor, a medieval knight armor...? Also, is it painted blue or is the metal blue?

You mean the wind propels him when he's running, right?

Not so much propel as guide. Think of rudder on a boat for running, or a tail on a monkey while he's acrobat'ing. Its mostly a stabiliser. It may provide a lil' bit of propulsion if needs be, but I designed it with guiding force in mind.
