by Prophet 1/10/2015, 12:54 pmI came in with a knife, sat down, and started to play the Halo 5 beta to forget that Sapphire didn't love me any more. I was on Slayer, on that new map, Pegasus. I kept fighting with my AR, but got smoked plenty of times. My team was losing. It reminded me of my mantra now in social situations, the only winning move is not to play. I kept trying to use my BR, but couldn't aim it right. I was losing 37-40. The enemy had the rocket launcher and sniper rifle, we were being dominated. Ten kills passed to fast, with the final kill being me getting my virtual throat slit. I then considered...actually doing that to myself with the knife I had. Well, life's only winning move was not to play. I felt my hand drift to the knife, picked it up, and placed it at my throat. I was thinking, you did this to me, Sapphire. You did this to me.

I started realizing my mistake and said, "Sapphire, I'm...I'm so sorry. I love you, Sapphire, please, don't ever forget that. We both made mistakes, but I love you. If you really love me...can we try again? Please?" I once again felt as I had when she and I had first danced. I just wanted to be forgived by Sapphire. I wanted her love. I couldn't help pulling her into a hug.

"I-I..." Was all I managed to utter before I broke down completely. Sobs wracked my body and I was umable to breathe. I tried to gulp some air but it was like something was blocking my airways. I tried to point it out at Nico while all the nervousness only made me cry more, thus worsening the situation

I noticed her inability to breathe. Jay had told me if this happened to someone...she was going into shock! I said to her, "I promise I'll help you Sapphire. Just stay here! I'll find someone to help!" I ran back to find Alucard. I had to let him know.

I saw the kiss, but I'd been so worried for Sapphire that I didn't care. I said to Alucard, "I'm sorry I ever asked for the assassins. You don't have to forgive me. Just please promise not to snap me in half, please?"
