As he was new to camp, Vexil decided to check out other things around just to see what else was there. He went into the store just to see what was inside.

If anything, perhaps another person might make her stay more enjoyable. There was a boy she hadn't been able to keep out of her mind for a while, one she had met in the mess hall, but she'd likely not see him again in the sea of Half-bloods at camp.

As he walked around the store, he noticed the girl he met at the mess hall. She was also the girl who he had accidentally stabbed in the hand with one of his knifes. He was hesitant to talk to her because he was embarrassed.
