Tonight we hunt! Sort of... not really... (open to everyone)

One thing George knew, it was a bad idea.

He tried to take his thoughts away from the present. He rewinded to what had happened as of that moment on his first day in camp. The best day of his life, and that shows a lot.

His cabinmates in Athena's cabin seemed subtle enough to not care about him, something for which he was grateful. They were busy working on projects and inventions and other scientific stuff. And he, well, he had his head in the clouds.

After getting to know his cabin he tried some of the activities. The lava wall was the most exciting thing he had ever done and he would also try swordfighting if he didn't have an incident with the Ares cabin. I think you can all guess what happened.

But all the practice, oh he would get it now. He went on to grab the first sword he ran across at the armory and strolled to the woods. His goal: kill monsters.

He knew it was stupid. But he had to. Most important step of overcoming your fears: Oppose them. Beat them or die trying. And he was afraid of monsters. They were chasing him for weeks. He survived by pure luck. But now he wouldn't run he would fight.

"OK. Something has to be around he-"

He got hit by an enormous force that grounded him and he slid all the way to a boulder that he luckily didn't hit with the face.

He turned, still grounded and groaning in pain, and he saw a monster, looking like a dog, only the size of a truck.

First thing he thought was that he was lucky the beast didn't just decide to eat him immediately and tackled him first.

He saw it ready to charge to him for the final blow.

And he started laughing. At the irony. Because he was about to die on the happiest day of his life.

George's hysteric laugh stopped when he heard a girl shout. He turned to the source of the sound.

Now, in life and death situations, instict overcomes logic. So he felt worried that the first thing his instict told him was that the girl was cute. Especially since he avoided interaction with females because of their complicated behaviour.

Unfortunately, the beast turned to the source of sound as well. The beast was about to attack her. His logic would run away.

His instict though wanted to help.

He stabbed the monster to get his attention and damn sure he did.

It turned to him and he started to back off.

"Play the distraction game. It's our best chance."

He dodged a hit from the beast's claws and hit it once again.

He didn't know where all that bravery had derived from, but he was grateful for it.

He was confused. He wasn't used to people voluntarily speaking to him. He found her eyes distracting so he averted his look.

He extended his hand as well and they exchanged a handshake.

"G-george. George Wilson. Th-the pleasure is all mine."

He got angry with himself for not even speaking properly. The whole thing was new for him. In some hours he had more social interaction than the past few years.

"Th-thank you for the help." he added and he averted his look yet again.

Now it was his turn to smile. He thought his arrival would pass unnoticed, since the place was overcrowded by his standards. He tried not to be too awkward.

"Indeed, I am. What about you?"

BIC: "Oh, I'm an Aphrodite child. You know, hair, nails, looks and what not. At least that's what people think about us, anyway."

Now, he avoided thinking stereotypically. But he wouldn't think of the girl as an Aphrodite child. He really liked how she looked, which was a first for him, but that wasn't what you'd call classical beauty. He smiled at her.

"Well, I am grateful that you use the sword pretty well. If you want to talk about false stereotypes, I don't think I'm that bright, considering my godly parent ."

Of course there were many reasons about that. But he wanted to keep the conversation going. For once.

"Well, you are a child of Athena." She couldn't help but giggle.

"So, what lead you to this forest, anyways?"

He liked the sound of her laugh. But he decided to stop thinking about that. After all, he wasn't used in this kind of situation.

"Erm... my curiosity. I got told that the forest was stocked with monsters. Being used to running from them I deciden to see if I could fight."

He paused for a second.

"Gosh, so stupid of me."

Sofia smiled. "You should have known better, but hey. You live you learn, right? But yeah, they usually stock it for things like Capture the flag and what not."

The kid seemed pretty nice. Sofia decided subconsously that she would most likely try and continue the conversation.

He shrugged his shoulders. "I guess."

His pauses made the conversation awkward. He needed to find something discussible.

"What do you love to do except disintegrating monsters?"

He immediately thought he was pretty desperate.

Oh, she thought. What was Sofia supposed to tell the boy besides confirming all of the stereotypical crap that people already knew about?

"Well," she said, eyes twinkling. "I'm pretty good in sword training class. No where near the Ares children, but you get the point. Then there is all the stereotypical things. Hair, nails, clothes. All that good stuff. What about yourself?"

George paused for a second. Truth was that he didn't have many interests.

"Well... I listen to music. And now I have decided to practice my reading, being dyslexic and all that."

He had indeed decided that, but the music thing was a complete lie. His dad used to listen and he had still kept his CD's but he didn't have where to play them.

Sofia nodded.

"I listen to quite a bit of music myself," she replied.

He had found something... but the girl just seemed kind to him and not enjoying his company. At least that's how he felt.

He smiled to her.

"So...th-thank you again. I really hope to see you.again."

By that he backed off a bit regretting a bit relieved for his decision.



OOC: Figured it should end at some point, especially since I am really bad at flirting even in the rp world xD. You can add your character's,reactions and that'd be that I guess. Thsnks for the rp, I enjiyed it really much.
