Arian walked into the cabin, her khopesh-like sword, Harpe, strapped at her side. Her glossy chocolate-brown hair was gathered up into a ponytail and she was in sports clothes: a sunny yellow tank top with white shorts and running shoes, her greaves and breastplate strapped in place.
"Hey Vern," she smiled, holding her helmet in the crook of her arm. "You ready? Our cabins are sparring in ten."

"Yeah, just a sec." Vern said as he pulled his swords out from under his bunk. He slid on his thin puma jacket and slid the swords into his belt."lets go!" he said enthusiastically as he started out the door.

Arian smiled at him and exited the cabin, heading for the arena. The daughter of Apollo passed a hand through her hair, brushing some rebellious streaks behind her ears and looked at Vern.
"So, how do you like camp life so far?" she asked in a friendly tone.

"Yeah the Ares kids aren't known to be tidy," Arian said, "but they're among our best fighters so obviously they work out a lot."
She put shades over her blue eyes, her thumbs in her pockets. "Met any siblings of yours already?"

"none" vern said as he cracked his knuckles "kratos apparently doesn't have many kids" thinking to himself about life here
