Vinny hadn't seen the outside of the Big House for more than two hours over the last week, outside of the time she spent handing out pictures at the various meals. That was actually rather poorly organized. She was thankful she'd asked everyone to write down their cabin, name, and bunk location in the cabin, before actually taking the pictures. She'd gotten right around five pages on her legal pad, all of which were attached to her handy-dandy clipboard, along with a manilla envelope filled with either drachmas or regular American cash. The camps hadn't exactly gotten down a currency transfer system, so she'd asked for mortal money if available, but apparently not everyone had access to it. Her backpack's camera and it's materials had been replaced with at least one hundred sets of photos from prom night, which she was now delivering, bunk-by-bunk.
According to her always-present schedule, she had twenty more minutes to finish her rounds, and then two minutes to grab whatever was leftover from lunch, eating on her three minute walk back to the Big House printer. She hadn't slept for more than three hours over the past week, and had dressed lazily, wearing a pair of Nike shorts, a soft T-shirt, and some tennis shoes, a water bottle clipped to her bag, her blue-green hair back in a long, tight braid.
Vinny looked up at the Hephaestus cabin, before checking her clipboard once more. Twenty five sets. Well, okay, then. Time to get started.
Not a girl to waste time, Vinny entered the cabin quickly, braid flying behind her, soon finding the first five bunks, taking the money, and placing the small packages down. On the six order, though, she paused, sighing as she tucked the package of photos into the second, far less full pocket of her bag. Gods, all these Graeci trying to cheat her out of her money. If they didn't leave her the money, they wouldn't get the photos, meaning her time had been wasted on their account. So annoying. She gave a little sigh, followed by a murmuring of some rather insulting phrases about how unorganized and undisciplined they were. Though it might've been a bit more colorful than that.
