Chance stalked into the area surounding the Aquaduct he walked out of the stables while everyone was learning to ride horses. Chance never really cared for horses much, so he figured he didn't need to learn to ride one. He was still fuming from the encounter he had with one of the higher ups in the First Cohort. He walked up to a support for the aquaduct and sat under it.

Re: being bored by the aquaduct
Jenny was having a surprisingly good day, despite getting rather battered in training. She had long learnt that she could never give up or yield, she needed to fight five times as hard just to prove herself equal to the rest of the Legion. Only a small number of Romans didn't doubt her loyalty or dedication to the Legion.
Most however believed she would end up exactly like her father, breaking when the going got really tough. Jenny intended to prove them wrong, prove them all wrong.
She managed to find herself with some free time so decided to take a quiet stroll, give herself some time to think plus re-read The Art of War. Jenny nearly jumped when she walked under the aqueduct and find someone sitting next to one of the supports. She calmed herself, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment, Jenny brushed a some of her black hair out of her blue eyes, the curse of long hair and wind. She flashed him a nervous, somewhat uncertain smile. "Hey this spot taken?" Jenny didn't know why but he looked like the kind of person who might appreciate someone to talk to.
Perhaps even the likes of her. She doubted that he would tell her any real big shocking secrets, why would he? And besides even if he did Jenny wasn't exactly the type to reveal them, any how who would believe her if she did?

Chance looked up at the young lady who asked if she could sit, he breifly considered a sarcastic responce, "No, it's free." He said, his voice quiet.
He kind of wanted someone to talk to, but he didn't want to talk to anyone right now.

Re: being bored by the aquaduct
Jenny seated herself down nearby. "Thanks." She opened her book and started to read through it, she wasn't sure if her companion wanted to talk or just desired for some nearby human well demigod presence. Eventually the silence began to grate on her nerves. "So... I'm Jenny nice to meet you..." The legacy trailed off not knowing the name of the boy she currently sat with.

Chance watched her sit down then stared staight ahead, trying to block out the world. The silence didn't bother him, he was used to people not talking to him and sitting for hours in silence for that reason. He jumped when she spoke. "Chance, pleasure to meet you as well."

Re: being bored by the aquaduct
Jenny tried not to laugh when he said it was a pleasure to meet her as well. She very much doubted that many of the Romans ever thought it was a pleasure to meet herself, the daughter of a deserter.
She wished she had gone for a different last name before coming to Camp Jupiter, the surname Manor was a cursed name. "You have a nice name." Jenny eventually said with a small smile.

Chance snorted, "It's an oxymoron though." He began explaining, "I'm not a risky person." He said similing, fake smiling. He'd gotten so good at fake smiling.

Re: being bored by the aquaduct
"Why not?" She inquired, setting her book down whilst she marked the page in it so she can get back to it later. "I have no choice but to take risks." Jenny forced a smile at him, she was good at forcing a smile on her face.
