A smirk tugged at Calla's lips, "How... quaint." And it was quite the picturesque and charming site, the branches giving a sense of privacy and fulfilled dreams whispered at midnight. It was a place where Owl City and Lorde should be played on repeat. In summary, Calla was enchanted.
She took a deep breath, letting the special scent of the forest caress her senses and rouse her emotions. An unexplainable happiness hit Calla like a tidal wave and her smirk turned into a beaming grin. She could understand why Terra would enjoy this spot and why she considered it her haven. Heck, if Ter hadn't already called dibs on it, she would have. But since she rarely went into the forest, she doubted that she would have found it anyway. And it was put to better use by Terra. She seemed totally at home here.
Suddenly, a thought struck Calla and she burst out laughing. Terra, the name, meant earth and Terra, the girl, seemed at home in the forest, on a tree. The irony wasn't lost on Calla.
She let her loud laughter dwindle into a soft chuckle as she eased into a comfortable sitting position and faced her companion. Her eyes were previously shut but were now open, staring at Calla with curiosity evident in them while her lips were slightly quirked in amusement at Calla. Knowing that Ter was asking her to elaborate on her sudden outburst of chortles, she said, "Your name name is Terra. I'm sure you already know that it means earth. And here we are, surrounded by earth and you've never looked more comfortable." A pause. "That's what I think so though. I only met you today."
Shaking her head, Calla looked around then asked, "Who's your godly parent? I mean, I found you in the library so I thought you might be a daughter of Athena or something. But something tells me that I'm wrong. Maybe a minor god or goddess then? I can identify the majority of the campers from the major gods and goddesses." Calla knew she was rambling but she couldn't stop. She enjoyed sharing her theories with people and guessing someone's godly parent by the child's personality, friends and wardrobe.
"You dress very hipster-ish, find comfort in nature and whatnot, like reading and also easily trusted me. So maybe a daughter of Hebe or Antheia."
She was sure that it was one of those two mentioned goddesses, she just didn't know which one yet. One factor left to help her find out.
"Tell me about your friends."
