Whose Side Is Thee On

After Alice met Nestor and inadvertently took his favorite Yankees cap, he'd invited her out on a date. He wanted to see Captain America: Civil War. And so he asked her to come to this cinema. He stood in front of the theater, messing around with his iPhone. And then he would've to ask for the Yankees cap back.

Nestor took out two tickets to reexamine them. Then he sat down on one of the benches. He wore a jumper with hoods, jeans and Nike trainers. He pulled the hood over his head and played INJUSTICE while waiting for Alice.

Alice walked through the cinema doors, wearing skinny jeans and a dark blue jacket, as well as the "stolen" Yankees cap. Glancing around, both cautiously for monsters and for Nestor, she spotted him and smiled, walking over. "Hey," she said. "What are we watching?"

Nestor glanced up and smiled. "Hey! We're seeing the new Captain America." he said, pulling out the tickets

"See? I knew you had great taste. Oh..." She took off the cap, having just remembered. "I believe this is yours."

"I was just about to mention that." Nestor laughed, taking the Yankees cap and put it on his head. "C'mon." he headed for the door, offering her his hand

She took his hand and they headed towards the doors. Alice enjoyed messing with her hair, learning a few techniques from her mother's stylists and lucky enough to have very thick hair and the patience to deal with it, and today it was in a ponytail braided underneath.

"So," she said, searching for a conversation topic, "what team are you on?"

Nestor made a pun by pointing at his Yankees cap. "Team Cap. Whose side is thee on?" he retorted with Shakespeare English

"Thou art then against me, because I'm Team Tony," she said. "Cap is too much of a goody-two-shoes, Tony is the fun one. Also the suit is really cool."

"I fight for the rights of the heroes." Nestor replied. "Thine army shalt fall." He had the ticket checked, and the two proceeded inside. He led her to a seat, right in the middle, facing the big screen. There were advertisements before the movie began.

She watched the adverts with only slight interest, until it came to the movie trailers. Oh. She coloured slightly and looked down as she realised the music from one of the trailers was none other than Katrina Moore's, her mother's. It looked like a good movie but Alice could barely pay attention.

Then the movie flashed. The Marvel logo looked awesome. Then the movie processed. Occasionally Nestor would grab Alice's hand, sometimes gripping it.

Then two hours passed, and the movie ended. The two of them walked out of the cinema.

Having managed to forget the incident, Alice was able to enjoy the film (apart from the parts where she had to try not to cry because Bucky Barnes and also Wanda in a straitjacket and what even is Staron like his last girlfriend was her great aunt or something what the - well, anyway). She walked out with Nestor, enjoying the cool breeze after the stuffy cinema. "Thanks. I've wanted to see that for ages."

"No problem." Nestor smiled. He had wanted to see it for ages too. Unfortunately he bought two tickets. He needed someone to accompany him. "So where do you wanna head off to next?"

She shrugged, glancing around for inspiration. "No idea, you?"

"There's a Burger King around the corner. You want to get some lunch there?" Nestor offered.

She smiled, although she had actually never been to a 'Burger King' in her life. She presumed you ate burgers there. "Sure."

The two of them took a cab down to Fifth Avenue, where they sold out of this world Burger King burgers. (As in the chefs are more excellent, they fry deep and et cetera) He paid the cab driver and entered the shop, where it was packed. Nestor stood by the counter. "Hey, what you wanna eat?" he asked.

"Um..." She looked around, unsure of any items that might or might not be on the menu. "I don't know, surprise me."

He called a Special For Two (at least he thinks that's what they're called). Then Nestor grabbed her hand and led her to a table. "I honestly think they should call this place French Fries King because the french fries here is bigger than any other stores."

She laughed. "I still cannot get used to calling them fries. Where I come from, they're chips."

"And where would that be?" Nestor asked. Southern USA? Or England? He thought of the possibilities.

"England," she explained. "Used to have the accent, but I left when I was - 9 maybe? - and nowadays you can barely tell."

"Ah, so you're British." Nestor said. "I'm Hollywood--err--ee. Hollywoodee, I guess? Spent like half my life in California. I used to have that Hollywood accent, which is awful lot like a Southie, then changed. How come you've never eaten Burger King? I thought they have it in England?"

"Oh, we do," she said, pausing. She knew she was in dangerous waters here. "I just never really went to fast food restaurants, that's all."

"Oh." Nestor shrugged. He was about to continue when two plates were lowered and landed on their table. "Ah, here we are." he said in a British accent, turning to the waiter. "A cup of tea, mate?"

"Errrr…" the waiter froze.

"Just kidding." he returned to his regular accent. "Diet Coke and what would the lady here like?"
