    Hair: Medium length, curly, black
    Height: 6'3'''
Body Type: Thin-ish, lanky. Doesn't have much on him in terms of bulk.
    Skin Color: Pale white
    God-ParentHypnos
    Mortal Parent: Helen Taylor

Can put people to sleep real fast... and asks to be paid for it.
    Magic Tricks

Weapon**: Dream-Sever: A claymore of Celestial Bronze. About 4.5 feet in length from the tip of the blade to the pommel. He named his blade thus in honor of his dad.

    Spoiler:

(appears as a baseball bat slung over his shoulder through the mist).

Kopis: A simple and classic designed Celestial bronze blade meant for cutting. Hangs by his side and used when he's either disconnected from or there's not enough space for Dream-Sever. 2'3'' long.

    Spoiler:

(Appears as a small satchel wrapped around his waist)

    Appearance:

    Spoiler:

    Personality:
Aaron is a very laid-back guy, not taking much as super seriously as some people might. He often laughs in the face of danger, is relaxed in situations that would have the bravest people on edge and tends not to worry over much about the larger consequences of things. He's a very "in the moment" kind of guy, rarely taking the time to think through his actions or thoughts. He's quite in tune with his emotions, perhaps a reason for his general impulsiveness, tending to act on them if they were gospel. Stress only increases this phenomena... that is, if he's around people he knows and trusts.

When around strangers or higher-ups, Aaron's tone changes completely. He grows more quiet, still and attentive, all his visible emotions locked away as best they could be behind a blank expression. His voice seems to possess almost a hostile edge towards those that would approach him in a friendly manner, suspicious of their kindness. He's quite uncomfortable around folks he doesn't know and therefore keeps to himself. As he gradually begins to understand somebody, though, his personality begins to open up as well. His generally cold front acts as a defense mechanism until he knows the motives of the people around him... A generally distrustful sort.

Holds most of the gods in the highest esteem, though he fears those more powerful than his father was greatly.

    Flaws:
    Distrustful
Holds grudges for a long time
    Insomniac
    Lazy

Abilities (must relate to god parent; optional):
    Lucid Dreamer
Sleeping with his eyes open. Yes, this is an ability fore he will never be caught by surprise while asleep.

Powers (must relate to god parent; optional):
    Sleep-control:
He can emit a miasma of lethargy within which a person's energy and will to stay awake will be drained until the point on unconsciousness. Stepping outside the miasma will not restore the lost energy, merely stop them from losing more. In addition the people sent to sleep by this miasma will not awaken immediately after they leave it. While within it, they will continue to rest. Once they are out of it, however, it will take several minutes before they awaken.  (Useful only up to 5 meters in a sphere around him)(only effects demigods, mortals and monsters. Anything stronger will be able to resist its effects near completely)(Drains his stamina heavily)(No, it doesn't refill his own energy). Appears as a thin fog of sand-like particles swirling around him  slowly. This power can be resisted by protecting one’s eyes. It works best if the sand gets in someone’s eyes though contact with the sand still affects them, if less.

Lasts for 5 posts. Cooldown for 6. Victim awakens 2 posts after they've exited the radius of Sleep Control

Snap-Sleep: Aaron snaps his fingers, and suddenly anyone he's making direct contact  with will fall asleep, though only for an instant. (Negates the activation of one power in use or about to be used and forces it into cool-down.)
    Range: Within Eyesight
    Cooldown: 3 posts.

Flight: Much like his father, Aaron can construct wings via a sand-like material he conjures that work as well as the real thing! However, due to his lacking stamina via his insomnia, he cannot maintain them for long. He can only fly about 1,000 feet in the air, less than 1/30th the average height for a bird/plane. However, his wings can be destroyed if struck by a powerful attack, causing them to fizzle to nothing, starting it's cooldown.
(Lasts for only 3 posts, cooldown for 5)

NREM Sleep: Aaron can force upon himself a dreamless sleep-state that allows his body to regenerate damaged tissue and regain lost energy QUICKLY (akin to Percy Jackson being in contact with ocean water). The longer he sleeps, the greater magnitude of damage and stamina loss he can recover from.

Lasts 1,2 or 3 posts. (heals light, medium or fatal damage depending on how long he has been asleep)

Can only be used once per topic.

Sleep Walker Passive: Whenever Aaron falls asleep (not knocked unconscious), his body continues to function as if it were awake with mere instinct and his subconscious driving him now. In this state, Aaron moves and fights as normal but cannot use powers. He cannot speak nor acknowledges allies either. (Passive)

    Life Before Camp*:
Aaron had a no memories of his father growing up...  As a child, he spent no time with his dad, most of his time spent being raised by his mother. School was hardly a place of respite for him either. All the new, unfamiliar faces and people who wished to know him was rather... off-putting. What should've been a break from the near constant chaos of his home was simply another kind of distaste.

He kept to himself and pushed away everybody that attempted to disturb his peace. No matter their intentions, their intrusions on his life were not welcome and he made that rather clear... So clear, in fact... it got him suspended from middle-school. This, of course, did not please his mother, she who had kept the conflict from him was now forcing him to engage in it directly! She had grown tired over the years, tired of her husband's absence, their lack of money, she was frustrated in general and began to take it out on him! It had gotten so bad... it had devolved into beatings. At the age of 12, during one of these beatings, the air began to fill with a sand-like substance, fogging up the air so intensely it was hard to see... Near instantly, his mother fell, collapsed on the ground... and for some reason... he was unaffected...

Aaron ran away... What first was a run to the hospital transformed into a bid to escape his twisted life... He was tired of it... So tired and disgusted and frustrated...

For a time, Aaron lived on the streets of New York, scavenging for food, sleeping wherever could be deemed "safe". That was, until he was approached by a man in a scout's uniform. He looked to be in his early 30's with a large belly but jolly air about him, stating that he had a camp not too far from here that he could take refuge in if he so desired. The boy was obvious suspicious, contemplating whether to run or hide... but empty stomachs make for poor decision making... and he accepted. As it turned out... this scout-leader guy was some kind of goat-man known as a satyr and that he had been watching Aaron for a long time, keeping the... uh... "monsters" away.

It was from there he spent his life in Camp Half-blood, learning the secrets of the godly trade. From the monsters to the "Mist" (which he takes distinct interest in), to the combat training one must undergo. He was claimed by his father, Hypnos learned how to fight and become a "hero" as they so elegantly put it and generally was given a new family not days after he abandoned his old one. Suspicious...

Years passed and he picked up quite heavily on Hypnosis, putting various other campers under his spell and making them do some... uh... stuff. Pranks, you know? Have to get your jollies somehow. His personality had evolved to grow less hostile towards his fellow-campers, all of which he had begun to accept as his family, though there were always members he avoided. Ares, for example. And Zeus. Most of his time was spent napping to cope with his chronic insomnia, other times he spent training or just cloud-watching but rarely did he get involved with the camp's more jovial activities.

...And besides... His half-brother, Morpheus, was one of the key players in the invasion of Manhattan for the titans or so he was told... and told and told and told. He had no place among true heroes.

    RP Example*:
Aaron groaned heavily as he awoke to the piercing rays of the sun through the screen of his cabin, throwing the sheets over his head as if to block out it's almighty influence.

"Good gods..." He hissed under his breath. The Sun wouldn't be stopped by mere blankets! "Give me another hour... PLEASE! I'm not ready yet..."  Ah, but it was ready for him and Apollo had ultimate authority in these matters. The sun kept rising, more sunlight kept flooding in and, with a frustrated huff, Aaron threw off his sheets and sat up, rubbing the back of his neck as he yawned loudly... The only thing worth waking up to in this cursed world was the breakfast they served in the mess-hall... He swore, it was the only reason he got out of bed each day... Slipping on his baggy grey hoodie, black pants and boots, the son of Hypnos slipped his claymore-straps over his shoulders before heading out. He had learned that it would always be best to carry a weapon on hand, even in a place as... uh.... "safe" as Camp Halfblood. Between the obstacle courses, capture the flag and just angsty campers, one must always come prepared. He glanced over at the Ares cabin.

Yeah... Better not waste any time...

One of the very few benefits to insomnia is that you woke up UNGODLY early and that usually meant early breakfast! And early breakfast... that usually meant the best stuff was ripe for the pickings. Just because he was always walking around like a zombie didn't mean he didn't have any brains! As he predicted, nobody was awake yet, the mess-hall practically empty except with the cooks behind the counter and the smell of freshly made, gorgeous food... Ah, stomach... Happy day for you. But first... Aaron glanced over at the firepit that always burned within, the flames seeming to gesture towards him. The Gods always deserved their sacrifice, after all. Shoving off a about half his plate to the gods, Aaron made a quick prayer to each one before shoving off another small bit.

"For you, dad." He whispered. "ALRIGHTY! Time to eat finally..."

    Any notes about your characters:

    Hiya!

    - Why does his sword look like a bat through the Mist? The Mist turns mythological objects into something normal and inconspicuous like a pen or a hairpin.
    - Please define what he can do with hypnotism and mind games (abilities section)
    - How many posts does it take for the victim to reawaken? (Please use post limits instead of time limits)
    - The hypnotism bit sounds an awful lot like charmspeak, which we don't allow for powerplaying reasons. I'm also unsure whether or not essentially controlling someone else to do your bidding is in Hypnos' power sphere.
    - How many posts can he use the wings for? (Also be sure to say that it's sand-like substance, otherwise it sounds like shapeshifting, which is also banned)
    - Gods are only allowed to spend 2 weeks with their newborn demigod children, right after birth, so he would not have any clear recollection of his father
    - Claimings only happen at camp/in front of other people like the Hunters, etc. (Except for Athena's children who get claimed at birth)

    Rest looks good :)

I chose a baseball bat for Dream-Sever because it IS more inconspicuous than a giant blade xb Plus, I can't very well be two-handing a pen, now can I xb I needed an object remotely similar in size so the handling at least kinda makes sense (like how Percy one-hands his pen)

My mind is way too dirty for this job

Anyway I'm sorry i phrased it badly. What I meant was that the Mist makes it look like a pen. The demigod wielding it sees it as the weapon it is, just all the mortals around perceive it differently. Does this make more sense?

    - Please put post limits on his last power
    - For hypnotism in the abilities section, you still havent told me what exactly he can do with it

    just took hypnotism out.

Mortals see his weapon as a bat. the reason I chose that is so the illusion matches the size somewhat. A pen is simply too small for me to be comfortable with hiding a claymore.

Added cooldown to Sleepwalker (though I attempted to make it a passive ability)
