"Next," the judge called monotonously, shuffling some lists around on his desk; he moved the next page of it to the top of the cluttered desk, so that the next person would be coming up.

"Name and way you died?" The judge yawned, scribbling a bit on the right hand corner of the list to see if it would work -- and, thank the gods, it did.

The judge sighed -- people were dying so creatively nowadays. "Okay then. Fields of Asphodel for you." He crossed off Luren's name on the list.

Ophelia's soul crossed the ferry, and glided into the judgment pavilion. she almost looked like normal; her clothes were fine, she had ghostly images of her blades on her hips. she held her arms across her chest, hugging herself as she looked up at the ghost of the three great judges of the Underworld: Kendall, Daniel, and Kristal

The judge sighed, frowning at the list over the top of his glasses; most were idiot mortals, who died from various illnesses or stupid accidents. He passed the list over to the judge next to him, calling out, "Mortals, move to your left to the other judge; demigods, move forward in this line." The judge paused and peered at his list, then called out, "Ophelia, daughter of Cocytus."

The judge looked at her sternly, then consulted the list in front of him. "Cause of Death: Dove into a Kraken's mouth to weaken it on a quest," he muttered to himself. He looked up at Ophelia and said, "Elysium."

The judge paused, then shook his head. "Nope, that's it."

The judge yawned, consulting his list for the next name; he looked up from it and scanned the line lazily, calling out, "Ben Klutz."

Carly floated in line and waited patiently for her name to be called.
