I find a couple matches and light one. I set her coffin aflame and watch it slowly consume it entirely. My face was emotionless, but inside, I thought I died a little inside with her. I hated myself for not being better to her. Why did I have to fight with her? Maybe things could've been different between us before she left. Gods, I wish they were, but the past is the past I suppose...

I walk back to Matt holding the shroud. 'I can't do this...I an't,' I think. I sit down next to him, still crying. I take out a knife and look at it. I hold it to my throat and close my eyes. "I'm not gonna live without you," I whisper to Matt, even though he probably can't hear me.

I press the blade into my skin a bit. i squeez my eyes shut. I can feel the blood going down my neck. The pain just feels so vivid. I gasp and my eyes spring open.
