Morgan's bunk

I rolled my eyes with a smile, in a pleased annoyance. "Thanks. People here always tell me I'm gorgeous, hot and stuff. In Germany, I was considered ugly."
I turned my head to look at her.
"Where do you come from?"

I looked at her. "Greece? Really?"
Then, a great smile spread on my face.
"I love Greece so much! I've been to Athens, and Sparta and... awwwr, I just love it! I'm Spartan, you know."

"One thing doesn't prevent the other one." I smiled. "I'm French and German, but my ancestor on my father's side was Spartan. That's at least what our mother told me through an empousa. That's why my weapons, my shield, my armor and my values are the ones of a Spartan."

I took my sword out of its sheath. Its name, Apokryphos ("Secret"), was carved in the top of the blade.
"Molôn labe.... Yes, I'm very proud of being Spartan."
I sheathed the sword and turned it into the normal pen, which I slipped in my pocket.
"How long have you been here?" I asked Helen.

"Controlling elements." I smiled.
It was true; I could bend all four elements: fire, earth, water and air.
"Yours?"

"Shadow-traveling?" I asked with admiration. "Wow, I'd like to shadow-travel so much. But I never tried..."

I looked up suddenly.

"Could you teach me?"

I stood up.
"Well, if I don't try, I'll never find out." I said and offered my hand to help her on her feet.

"What about right here?" I asked smiling.
I stood there with my feet apart and hands on my hips.

I nodded in admiration. "Okay, so you use the shadows as a mean of travel?" I asked, to be sure. "You have to think of the place you want to go at?"

I walked into the Hecate cabin, looking for someone who could help me with a spell I had found in one of my plumes that I preferred to read a lot, well whenever I got the chance. My sneakers barely made a sound as I peaked my head inside the magical cabin, then just walked right in and towards the back, looking around for anyone.

My hair was cut short, though at the moment I would have liked it a little longer, I thought it helped me look better-not that I had girls coming for me either way. Smoothing down my Iron Man shirt I spotted a girl and walked over silently, though I could really be so quiet during the day.

"Well, if it isn't my most hated Scotsman," I said, grinning before putting down the book I had been reading and turning around to face Zach, the son of Athena. In contrary to most of his siblings, he didn't have blonde hair or grey eyes, but dark, close-cropped hair as well as hazel-green eyes.

Standing up from my bed, I almost caused the wolfsbane pot to topple over, but caught it in time. Phew. With all the stuff around here -- magical plants, gems, mystical items and scrying glasses, it sometimes became difficult to move. I was wearing my black tanktop, the one printed with a white pentacle, circled by the eighteen Runes of the Futhork with combat boots, white shorts and a wallet chain. Once again, I had had fun with the Mist: my hair was died flaming red, and I had given myself eyes of a startling indigo color, as well as some moving tattoos on my wrists and arms. Manipulating the Mist had become part of my daily morning routine, not exactly as a practice, but more to check my powers were actually real. I still had difficulties believing this. All this...all this stuff. The gods, the Camp, the mythology...Probably the reason I exhausted myself checking my powers every five seconds.

As I saw Zach's expression, I laughed, and changed my hair back to dark brown.

"It's me, Morgan," I told him and cane forward. "What brings you here?"

I stared at the girl, shocked she had known my last name without me even speaking a word to her. Was she some sort of witch?! Well, of course she was being a child of Hecate. Then the fiery hair changed to a deep brunette, almost black and I recognized the girl instantly. Quickly my look of confusion became one if a smile as I stepped forward and hugged her tightly, then answering her question once I had stepped back.

"I was just looking for someone to help with a spell I found, but looks like I found you instead" I teased a little. Teasing was hard fr me for some reason, I could think of the best things to say but I could never say them. Luckily for me, Morgan teased me and knew I tried to tease her from time to time. However, most of the time it just failed. Horribly. Once and a while there was a golden comment though, but not usually. "So" I said at last, allowing my Scottish accent slip into my voice "how are you?"

Zach wrapped me into a hug and I hugged him back, my tattoos spinning across my wrists. He was quite taller than me so I always ended up with my face against his shoulder. His frame had gotten a tad bit larger, I noticed, probably from all the working out and fightin; he wasn't the only one, I had grown some strength in the arms from wielding a shield and a sword that were more than half my weight.

"I'm doing brilliant, thanks. Just got back from the canoe lake with the Hermes people. Kinda had a naval fight," I grinned, before looking up. "A spell?" I asked, intrigued. "Is it in Ancient Greek or is it a symbol?"

"You didn't invite me to a naval battle?" I asked with a hurt look before laughing. "Anyways, the symbol is Celtic, here I copied it down" I told the older girl and felt my pockets, pulling out my Swiss Army knife, some string, a broken necklace, a deck of cards...finall I pulled out a paper and handed it to her "here it is!" I proclaimed in triumph.

Looking around the cabin I sat down on her bunk and looked at her, brushing one of my scars. It was a foot long and down my leg, from a surgery though usually I just said it was a monster. Morgan knew it was from a surgery though.
