He quickly used his powers, and scanned Astrid for any negative emotions, that sprouted from fear. That meant he would have to look at the roots of the emotion.

Dorian's eyes widened at this. If there was a demon within Astrid, then was there one in him? Is that what the demon was talking about?
He let out a deep breath, and tried to calm down, to get things right within his head.

Dorian took a startled step back, eyes wide open in shock.
"Jeezus! Astrid..." he was saying, before a feeling of realization came over him, this was the Demon, and, well, Astrid had seemed to be in control, she wouldn't allow it to take over her body for no good reason, this was genuine. "I-I want to know what you meant... before, when you spoke to me."
