"Is there anything to do in this cabin?" I asked looking around. There were a lot of pictures of famous celebrities and of course, there were mirrors next to most beds.

I shook my head. "Not really. Not unless you love doing your hair and makeup," I said. "We have our own restroom in the back, since the public ones out there are disgusting." I pointed the door outside where the restrooms for everyone are.

I looked at the door she pointed to, "It does look a lot nicer than the public ones. I don't have any hair to really style." I ran my hand through my short black hair. "And I don't think make up will look good on me."

I laughed. "Yeah, but we could do something about that cowlick." I jokingly pointed to his hair.

"What's wrong with my hair?" I grinned at her.

"Nothing," I said and laughed. "Just kidding." It felt good to joke about something.

I smiled and looked into her eyes, "It's been fun hanging out with you. You are a pretty cool person." I swung my feet back and forth off the edge of her bed.

"Thank you," I said to him, smiling. "So are you," I said, although I would never use the word 'cool' to describe anything. "I had fun, too." I wasn't even lying. I mean, there were some times I was uncomfortable, but overall it was very fun.

I could think of anything else to say. "So do you, uh, maybe want to go out some time." I muttered out. I looked at the ground avoiding her eyes. I felt so stupid. Why do I have trouble talking to girls?

I froze for a second. Did he just say what I think he said? Oh my goodness, he did! What am I supposed to say? Come on, Sarah-Louise. Take a chance. Do something for yourself for once. Make yourself happy. "Yes," I said to him. "That would be nice." I smiled.

When she said yes, I let out a breath I had been holding. I brought my head up and looked into her eyes.

"Really? That's awesome!" I blushed, "I mean that's great." I smiled nervously. "So, do you maybe want to figure out a time later? I have to go." With a big smile on y face I exited the cabin.
