Kate Valentine's Bunk

Gerran found himself walking to Kate's bunk. Sighing, he poked his head around the corner. "Kate?" he asked quietly. His bleeding nose was throbbing and his voice sounded far too nasally. He kept having to mop up the blood with some tissue. He sighed when he saw her looking like she was asleep.

"Only a little. I got into a fight with the floor," Gerran sighed and appraoched. "I'm just mopping up what's left now."

"It's completely fine," Gerran said and let her take the hand with no blood near it at all. "I'm going to have to roll in disinfectant before I feel clean again. But I can see you so I'll be fine. OCD can be a b*tch."

Gerran rolled his eyes and did as he was told. Typical Kate. "OK, I'm sat down."

"Kate, I know I should. I'll have to do it once my nose has stopped bleeding," Gerran pointed out. He dabbed a few more times at his nose.

"Some girl. She wasn't around when I tripped," Gerran shrugged. "I was helping her out. She's shy. Unlike my amazing girlfriend. I said I'd come up with a tune for her song."

Gerran grinned. "It's too bad my nose is bleeding. I could kiss you right now."

Gerran shook his head. "What would the point be if I'll just bleed on myself in the process?" Gerran pointed out. His nose was starting to stop.

Gerran sighed. "You know what? I've forgotten what I came here for. I guess just seeing you is enough."

Kate walked in to her cabin, and plopped down into her bunk. It had been a while, and she hadnt gone to see Gerran or talk to him. She was giving him the silent treatment. Who was he to tell her to finish the whole damn apple? It was an apple, it didnt matter. "Ugh damnit what if i was wrong?" Kate was weak now, barely able to walk. After her and Gerran's argument,, she had restricted her eating even more. She pulled heer knees up to her chin and closed her eyes

Gerran hobbled in with his crutches and knocked on the doorframe. "Hey, Katie," he said quietly. He sighed and assumed she was asleep. She looked so pretty when asleep... He sighed and hobbled in a little more and put a small velvet pouch on her pillow. "You left your locket at the infirmary... "

He was tempted to kiss her but feared she'd open her eyes. He started to leave instead.

Kate slowly lifted her head up and saw Gerran. He looked like he;d been through war. Well, falling off a cliff could do that...
"Gerran wait," she said She picked the pouch off her pillow and held it. She would have stood, but it was too much energy. "Did you really come all this way just to drop off a necklace?"
