Laylani's Bunk

Brigitte walks in with Laylani, feeling a bit small. The kids in her cabin were a lot taller than her. She hated that. 'H...hello.' she says unconfidently to the girl.

Drayeke smiled. " Are you two both Aphrodite daughters?" Drayeke asked with a smile. Not trying to be too sudden or anything.

Brigitte had no idea what the girl had said, so she looks up to Laylani, hoping she would translate for her.

"I am. My friend speaks French. Do you?"

Je ne me sens tellement bien. Brigitte says, coughing a little. She had been sick earlier in the week, but today she was feeling a bit better. Was her cold coming back to her? She lays down on Laylani's bed, and looks up at the ceiling, coughing occasionally.

((I do not feel so good))

"Are you okay?" I ask her in French.

Drayeke looked at her " French is like a second language!" Drayeke said with an English accent.
"Avez-vous un rhume" Drayeke asked the girl laying down on the bed.

(Do you have a cold)

"Oui. C'était mieux ce matin, alors j'ai pensé qu'il était parti. Je suppose que non." Brigitte replies weakly.

((Yes. It was better this morning, so I thought he was gone. I guess not.))

"I'm sorry. If you need anything, just ask." I say gently in French.

"Merci d'être si préoccupé." Brigitte mutters in between coughs.

((Thank you for being so concerned.))

I smile sympathetically.

Drayeke looked concerned. "Avez-vous besoin d'eau?" Drayeke asked walking towards the girl.

(Do you need water)

"Je pense que je vais bien." Brigitte says weakly.

((I think I'm fine.))

"Okay. Well you should rest."

"Non, je vais bien" Brigitte says, not wanting to give in to her sickness. She did need rest, but she was a fighter.

((No, I'm fine.))

Brigitte was starting to fade in and out of sleep. After a couple minutes she was out cold, sleeping in Laylani's bed as if it were her own.

Brigitte wakes up for a second, and notices the blanket. She pulls it up to her chin and falls back to sleep, a small smile on her face.

When Brigitte wakes up, she notices that Laylani was just sitting there on the floor. she must have been so bored. "Je suis tellement désolé! Pourquoi avez-vous me laisser dormir? Je suis tellement stupide!" Brigitte exclaims.

(("I'm so sorry Why did you let me sleep? I'm so stupid!"))

I smile."Its fine. You need your rest." I say to her.

'No it isn't!' Brigitte says, on the verge of tears.

"It's fine. It's fine!" I walk over to her and give her a hug.
