Annabeth's bunk

I nod and shake his hand back. "So are you a smart kid. Or was the goddess of wisdom blessed with another ignorant child. We've been having more and more of that lately", I practically spat that out at him yet I didn't bother to take it back. He was cute in a way. Annabeth wasn't into the super hot type like from the Aphrodite cabin, they were usually to full of themselves. She liked geeky sweet boys.

"I'm pretty smart. While I was in school I got good grades."

I smile. "Then Jack, you have a new friend" I laugh. "So, have you set up your bunk yet?"

I say, "I have set up my bunk. I'm glad to have a new friend."

I give a nod and rock back and forth on my heel. If there was a picture for awkward in the dictionary, we would be in it. "So.....umm" I search my mind for anything worth sharing. Nothing.

I say, "So, can I tell you what happened to me just before I started my journey here?"

"Sure", I bit my thumb nail a nasty habit I've had since i arrived to camp half blood.

"So, at Van Nuys Middle School, Mr. West turned out to be a Cyclops, and Raigoza a satyr. Raigoza gave me my sword, which I killed Mr. West with. Then I journeyed across the country."

"That's cool I guess. Exciting in a way." I shrug feeling uncomfortable. "I gotta go, I promised Chiron Id meet him later. It was awesome to meet you" I quickly get up and rush to the door. Before I open it though I turn around and flash him a smile. "Welcome to the Athena cabin, ill see you soon" I swiftly leave slamming the door behind me.

I smile a little as I hear a new kid's fascination. "Welcome to the Athena cabin, i hope you enjoy your stay with a bunch of know it all's" I nod my head and focus my attention back to the sketch I was drawing on my lap.

"What are you drawing?"

I blush a little. "Nothing, really....just a battle diagram. Here in the athena cabin...we're quite fond of them", I motion for her to look at the rows of sketches we had alinging the walls. They were beautiful every single one of them.

"That's cool I guess. I...I wouldnt mind that either", I would die for architect. My father had been one and I always marveled at the things he made. I supposed that's why him and Athena married in a way. " So Im annabeth", I stick out my hand "daughter of athena, as you may assume"
