by I sat down on my bunk and studied my arm, 3 lines. Three years. i looked at the clock, it was only 8:00am, that's the problem with being a daughter of Aurora you always wake early. I did 2 french braids on either side of my head. and got up. I decided to go for a run, tying my laces and ran out the door.

Ana ran into the room, she looked around, no one else was here. She was glad about that. She kicked off her shoes and put her Pugio on her side table, not even bothering to change, she crawled under the sheets and turned so she faced the wall. There were only some pictures there of her and her father, also a letter dated a year ago of her father inviting her to come visit. she closed her eyes, trying to forget all the problems she had.

I finished my drawing then cut off the paper and wrote a note behind with small letters:

Ana watched him go, then looked at the drawing in her hand, it was good, really good. She tacked it up on her wall, and looked at the note. She wanted to thank him, she put on her shoes and walked out the door.

Ana found herself in her bed, looking at the time, it said 6am, she groaned, how is she awake? She got up and changed into a purple t shirt and jeans, she walked onto the porch of the barrack and was greeted by a cold rush of air, she smiled and headed to breakfast.

Ana made it back. She propped the still unopened umbrella against the porch railing, she wasn't soaked but she wasn't dry, she didn't mind though. She took off her shoes and placed them near the door, so she wouldn't track mud. "Thanks for taking me to the cave." she said.
