"Why am I here?" Jaz asked, like it was a stupid question, and rightfully so. She scoffed, folded her arms, and asked him, "Is it illegal to walk through the forest seeking seclusion?" Her condescending tone may have been a bit much, but she figured her annoyance was made more clear that way.

I could sense another awkward silence coming up...so I decided to make it more awkward. By resting my head on her lap, and just to go the extra mile, I said,"Ahh that's the stuff," while grinning widely.
