History Before CHB:
Born to Hank and Khione, Skylar was always spoilt.
Shoes, clothes, a nice little shopping spree every other weekend. Hank doted on his Daughter, because at that point the rest of his family were dead. She was all he had, and he was all she had.
When Skylar was five though, Hank met the woman of his dreams. Isabelle was a pretty American girl, who had moved to Alaska so as to find a job. She was working in a Starbucks when he found her.
Monthes passed, in which time they grew closer and closer, until the two were married just short of Skylar's birthday.
She didn't hate Isabelle. She loved her as a child loves their mother. But she didn't like that half a year later, Isabelle had convinced her father to move away from the cold country, and into California.
That was when she started to hate everything. She started to grow darker and more reclusive, hating the warm place they had moved to.
So at age 11, just after a fight with her father, she ran.
And ran.
And ran.
She didn't stop until she reached New York City, off a bus. There she was found by a Manticore, who cornered her in a dark alley.
And in that moment, her saviors appeared. Lily, Marie, and Wood. Two half-bloods and a satyr, who saved her from the creature. They led her to Camp, where as soon as she crossed the boarder, she was claimed.
It took her a while to become the girl she was. To lose her old demeanor, and to grow into Skylar, Daughter of Khione, blue haired girl. But when she did, she lost everything. She lost her old family, cutting off all contact. She even lost her old personality, developing a darker view of the world, as a cold hard place.
Physical Appearance:
Skylar has been described all her life as pretty. Not beautiful, not stunning. Just pretty.
Her hair is naturally raven black, and falls to just below her shoulders when straightened. Its generally thin, a few layers giving it a small bit of a boost. Skylar's hair has always been a bit of a sore point for her, as she prefers hair that's long and thick. She dyed it first when she was fourteen, a few streaks of a dark blue. As she grew older, she steadily started to dye it more often, until finally only the bare minimum of black was left, and her head looks cyan. She's never been seen without her hair like how it is now, and you'd be hard done by to find someone from her old life who remembers what she looked like before.
Skylar has eyes shaped like almonds, that are framed by thick, heavy eyelashes. Her eyes are a shocking blue, darker than other eye types, but also very clear. She is never seen without her usual eyeliner and mascara coating her lashes, giving them a look even thicker than her natural one. She likes eye-shadow, and tends to wear a small bit of black/silver, just to outline how blue her eyes are even more.
Skylar has white skin, that doesn't tan easily. She's never been one to go outside on the hottest day of the summer and sunbathe, instead preferring the shadows and cold. She wears some make up on occasion, but never enough to make her look tanned. Just enough to give her a healthy glow, because the way she usually looks is sickly and sad. Her face doesn't have many blemishes, which is one of her high points. She does have a larger nose than suitable for her face, but whether she hasn't noticed that flaw or just doesn't care is unknown.
She stands just under average height, and tends to be dwarfed by anyone. She doesn't care about being short, but that doesn't mean she won't seize the moment to wear heels.
One big thing about Skylar is that she loves her nails. They might not always be long, they might not always be short. But she loves painting them a blue to match her hair, or a black to match her eyes. Its a statement for her, that she can be whatever she wants to be.
She has a nose piercing, a small silver stud, and she is never seen without it. Its a new feature though, as she only got it a few weeks before her sixteenth birthday.
Skylar's style with clothes isn't very outspoken. She wears whatever she feels like, be it a dress or a tracksuit. The only thing you wouldn't see her without is a headband and her converse. They could clash terribly with her outfit, but she wouldn't care. As she says: Not everything is about looks. I can be just as beautiful a person on the inside without them.
Pets:
Mystee, Skylar's husky puppy. Skylar found her when she was in New York City during a time when there was a lot of snow. Mystee had nearly been left behind, as her old owners had abandoned her in a disused building. Skylar heard her yapping, and found the weak little puppy. She brought her back to Camp, and Mystee has been her faithful friend ever since. Its rare you see one without the other.
Talents:
Skylar has many talents related to fighting. She can sword fight, she can in general use a bow and arrow. Not very well, but the years she's been at camp mean she does have a level of experience with nearly every weapon.
She's always been quite a talented singer and dancer, but she's scared of people seeing her performing, which stops her.
Weapon:
Skylar fights using a sword, her main and most strongest attack. She's capable of conducting ice through it, but because of the risk of fainting doesn't unless its an emergency. Her sword is celestial bronze, and can conduct ice when it reaches a certain temperature.
Flaws:
Skylar's fatal flaw is her strong personal loyalty. She would sacrifice anything, even her own life to save her loved ones. They come first for her, and she would never leave them to be hurt, or allow them to be hurt.
She also has another flaw. It contradicts her first one in so many ways, but that was always the way with Skylar. And when it means saving the world, or even just one person dear to her, she will do what needs to be done. While her other flaw points towards she would never allow someone dear to her be hurt, she also knows what has to be done. If given the choice to save the world by killing a love one, or watching as they whole wide world died, she would do what needed to be done, by sacrificing the loved one.
Powers:

• Freeze: She can slightly freeze someone, but it requires concentration, and being severely ADHD, she doesn't have much. She can do it Four Times a day, but even that's pushing it.

• Cold: She can make something grow colder and colder, until it feels like its burning. This, when done to much, causes fatigue.

• Ice Wind: When she's angry, without even realizing, her hair starts to whip around with a very icy wind. She doesn't even realize what she's doing.

• Speak: Something very similar to charmspeak. Skylar confirms your worst fears, making you think that something your worried about is your fault, or will happen if you don't do something else.

• Fire: She can sense fire.

• Final: She can freeze water, and create snow. These are her most powerful of talents, and require little concentration, but a lot of energy. She can freeze water at a max five times a day. The snow is a natural part of her parentage, and so she simply requires a lot of energy for this. She can freeze a smallish size lake with about.. a centimeter of ice, and as the water size gets smaller, her amount of ice will go up. As the size of the water goes up, her width of ice goes down.

I spun, and smiled.
Lily wasn't exactly hard to beat anymore. She wasn't when I was 11. Now I was up to her standard of fighting.
'Tired yet?' she called.
I laughed, and deflected one of her lame attacks.
'Pfft. No.'
With that I twirled her sword from her hands. It clattered to the ground.
