Cabin's Courtyard

I laughed and rolled my eyes. "Mabye it is."

Chase watched as the boy rolled down the hill. Hm. Another Apollo kid, huh? Very energetic. Actually, that usually seemed to be him, but he was feeling a bit sick fronhis dream, not to mention sore from the fall. He stood up. "Well, if you dont mind, I have some sword practice to do."

She perked up when she heard sword. "Can I come?"

He gets up at the bottom laughing his butt off and sticks his arm up in the air "I'm...Okay!"He says in between laughs

"Sure." He glanced at Danny at the bottom of the hill. He looked back at her, and wondered for a moment if he shouldn't've said yes. He had been planning on going alone.

He walks out and stops laughing when he sees another flashback of his mothers death he turns pale and passes out still screaming "MOM NO DON'T TAKE HER SHE'S JUST A MORTAL!"and tears start streaming down his face

Layla looked at the boy. "Whoah! What's wrong?"

"MOM IS DYING!"He breaths Heavily "Ambrosia in my bag!"

Chase's eyes widened at Danny's screams. They sounded hauntingly familiar. He shook his head roughly, banishing away the thoughts. No. His memories were locked away in the back of his mind.

Except during the night.

Chase turned to Layla. "Actually, on second thought, no. You should stay here."

She sighed and grabbed some embrosia. She poure it in his mouth.

He takes a small bite and calms down and walks up to Chase. "By The Way I-I'm Danny Son of Apollo It's nice to meet you.And you are?"

"Layla daughter of Apollo." She looked over at chase.

He turns to her "I'm your half brother."He starts to walk away

She nodded. "Yep."

"Hey, Uh i'll see you around."He walks away

She looked at chase. "So...can I still come?"

"Yeah," Chase answered as he watched Danny walk away. He glanced at Layla. "You should follow him, actually, just to make sure he doesnt have a nervous breakdown or something." He murmured, so only layla would hear.

Personally Chase didnt know whether or not he really did want to be alone. He was too used to being alone, yet at times like these he felt the need to be.

She frowned. "Too bad I'm coming with you." She smiled.

"Well, then," Chase said, a bit taken aback at her answer. He watched the silhouette of Danny in the morning light, then back at the stubborn redhead. "If he does have another nervous breakdown, it's on you." With that Chase turned and headed to the Arena.

She gollwe behind him.
