Skylla's Bunk

I stumbled into cabin seven. A couple demigods were spread around the cabin. I opened my mouth to introduce myself but no words came out. I gripped my suitcase handle with a shaky hand and scampered toward an empty bunk. I wasn't usually shy, but then again, the only human being I'd ever talked to was Mother. I tentatively sat down on the white sheets and wiped away a tear.

I was noticeably avoiding all the Apollo half-bloods, hoping to not catch their cooties. Finally, I couldn't take it being anymore in a room full of people. I slipped out a bow and quiver from my suitcase and half ran, half walked toward the archery range.
