Powers and Weapons

I run into the arena. I quickly suit up in some armor that fits loosely. It's missing a couple of pieces, so all I have is a breastplate, some shin guards, and some nice leather gloves that I found outside the Arena.

I slowly walk into the arena. I decided against any armor. I drew my scimitar from it's sheate, and spun my scythe menacingly. "You ready?" I thought.

I draw my dagger and study him. He's obviously waiting for me to answer before starting. I use that to my advantage and move in closer. I slash at his unguarded chest.

I smirk. I swing up my scythe and block her slash. "You know, it's a common curtesy to say 'yes' when someone askd you if you are ready before starting." I used my powers to make it appear as if there are 7 of me and several hellhounds.

I smile. I'm not much for 'common' I smirk. Unsure which hellhound/Griffin to aim for, I step back and let my powers do some of the dirty work. I put my dagger in between my teeth so that I'll have two free hands and focus on all of my targets. Immediately, two thick grape vines shoot out of the ground. I force them to wrap around my opponents. Once they follow through, I take my dagger out of my mouth, ready for another attack.

I smiled at her 'interesting' use of powers. I quickly spun around with my scythe, slicing away some vines. My Illusions did the same and we began circling her. My clones split up, one went for her egs, 3 for her back, the hellhounds leaped at her, and I made myself 'invisible with an illusion. Then, I hid silently so as not to alert her of my idea.

I quickly drop to the floor and slide in between the legs of one of the clones. I stand in the middle of the arena, unsure where to go, and look around me. He said something about seeing thoughts... Maybe I can see his? a second later, I curse. why did I think that?

I smirk and shut down the dream that I talk through, so that we can no longer hear eachother's thoughts. I walked up behind her and gently laid both my scythe and sword over her throat. I reoopened the talking dream. "Your right." I thought, smirking.

I stiffen up at the feeling of the cold blades on my throat. I grit my teeth and close my eyes. After a minute, I take my dagger and press it to the small of his back. Stalemate?

"Not yet princess." I thought. The real me walked up to her, layed my blade against her throat, and attempted to disarm herwith my scythe.

I raise my dagger above my head and twist out from between the blades, but, as I'm doing so,y dagger slips from my grip. Realizing I'm weapon less, I run to the other side of the Arena. I look around me desperately and find nothing but a broken shield lying on the ground. I pick it up and take off my armor, relying completely on the shield.

I throw my scythe towards her as hard as I can, and it flies like a boomerang. Then I run at her as fast as I can, with my scimitar trailing behind me.

I dodge the scythe, but it manages to hit my shoulder before I can duck low enough. I wince, but refuse to look at the cut. I continue on, this time using my powers. I don't want to use my other powers, so I try the grapevine again, sticking a vine right in his footpath. I run to the different corners of the gym in case it doesn't work.

I trip, but roll and spring back up quickly, as if nothing happened. I kept going but I slowed down to a walk. When I got to her, I pulled out some nectar and poured it on her cut. Then I tossed her a piece of ambrosia. "You okay?" I asked worridely.

Fine I smile. I've had worse. Hopefully,it'll leave a scar. I put the shield down. Wanna stop? I ask, grabbing my dagger and watching as it transformed back into my tube of lipstick.

I smiled. "Sure." I thought.

Okay, now what? I ask eagerly. Is there anything here you've never done?

"Well....." he said dramatically. "There is one thing I've never done here before, but I don't plan on doing it any time soon." I said jokingly.

Fine then! I say, realizing he's toying with me. I turn away and try to forget. Instead, my legs tarts to dance up and down and I can't focus on anything else. I sigh quietly. What is it?

I chuckle softly. "You don't want to know. And no, that isn't it." I said smirking. "Want to go to the lake?" I ask.

That's the only place I've never been. I'll meet you there, Kay? I gather my stuff and stand up.

"Got it." I think. I start off towards the lake.

Alexis walked in.

I follow Alexis into the Arena. "Do you usually suit up, or...?" I ask, getting out my throwing knives and my holster-like belt.
