Salvador couldn’t believe what he’d just saw.
As he staggered along the path, using his sword as his walking stick, he was pretty amazed to see the infirmary. Before, he was exactly sure that this camp’s little hospital will be like any other hospitals in the world…full of hospital-ish smell, white things (his experience said that doctors, nurses, and patients usually wear identical clothes, which are mostly white), medical electronic stuff, and well…sickness.
But he didn’t expect this to come.
All around him, he saw sick people—uniquely sick people. He realized that most of them—almost all, in fact—were there because of physical injuries. Some of them, he saw, wore bandages around their head. Some of them were helped and healed by other campers. Others were given Ambrosia or Nectar by satyrs. Salvador had to resist the urge to call those satyrs ‘nurses’—well…it just didn’t sound right.
He, sadly, didn’t come to watch the show. He came to experience the show. He looked awkwardly at his broken foot, and turned to Alex with a confused look. The scenery had made his brain dizzy…and he didn’t know what to do. It was his first time here, after all.
