Lexy Fuller's Bunk

As I walk towards the Apollo cabin with my dog, Sparky, at my heals I wonder if anyone else was in the cabin and could show me a bunk. I didn't have any bags since I lived in the woods for two years. All I had was a jacket, a t-shirt that was almost to small, a pair of faded jeans, and my bow and quiver. Two years ago when I first ran away my jacket and jeans were to big, but now they fit perfect. As I got closer to the cabin I look down at Sparky and remember how I met him.

It was a couple of months after I first ran away, It was starting to get colder as winter was coming in. I had managed to make a fire with some dried pine needles and pine cones. I had ran out of food two days ago and couldn't find any animals to hunt. I had a couple of blueberries left and I was about to eat them when I heard a twig snap. I grabbed my bow from beside me and pulled an arrow from my quiver. I notched the arrow and slowly pulled back, waiting for what ever had made that sound to come out. I saw a push rustling and I took aim and was about to fire, when a puppy crept out of the bush. I lowered my bow and looked at the puppy closer. It looked like a husky, but that didn't make sense why would a Husky pup be out in the woods? I put my down and grabbed a blueberry and held it out to the puppy hoping he would take it. The pup slowly crept up to my hand and sniffed it. It slowly took the blueberry and ate it. It looked like it hadnt had a thing to eat in weeks. It then walked up to my small fire and curled up next to it.

I had reached the cabin and I slowly opened the door.
"Hello? Anyone here?" I ask.

Seeing that nobody was there I decided to go and play with Sparky in the strawberry fields for a while and come back later.

Trista walks to the nearest bunk a old bow on her and a dirty quiver bare footed and she just arrived at camp halfblood."Hi i just got here i dropped of my stuff at my bunk and i wanted to meet people people in my cabin this is my dog Duncan" i point to the black lab behind me.My jeans are cut up and faded my tee shirt dirty and my jean jacket also cut.My long blonde hair with black streks was in a braid.

As I'm walking towards the cabin again I see that the door is open and I wonder if any one is there. "Hello?" I say into the open door. "anyone here?" I look down at Sparky. I pull my bow off my back and fiddle with my arrows. I walk in.

Its ok i say dropping my bow to the ground so she knows im friendly "im Trisha Kearring im new here and i wanted to say hi im a Apollo kid also.And this is my dog Duncan."

"Hi I'm Lexy. This is Sparky." I say I realize she dropped her bow, and wonder why. "It's ok I wasn't planning on shooting." I say smiling.

"Ok" I say as i pick up my bow and carefully clean off the dirt then put it back slung across my back. But before i do that i smile at it and happier memories come back to me.

She smiles randomly and I don't know why. "so you new here too or you been here a while?" I ask. Maybe she can help me out.

I say "i just got claimed not to long ago im new."

"Cool I got here a couple days ago I just got claimed." I say.

"Im just glad i wasnt in Aphrodite i was so cut up and dirty if i entered there cabin i sware they would of had a panic attack." I say laughing a little.

"Ya I see them around sometimes." I laugh. "So wich bunk is your's? or do you not have one like me yet?" I ask.

"Wait you dont have a bunk yet?" i ask "A boy offred me his as soon as i got here i thought that was like the rules or something." i say unsure

"Well bye i gotta go" i say.

"no I don't have a bunk yet." I say I hear her say bye and I try to stop her. "Wait were are you going?" I ask eagerly

"Im just gonna head back to my bunk" i say

"Oh sorry." I say "I just don't have many friends." I say a little quieter.

"Its ok i dont have many friends eithe ri guess why i talked to you is because you seemd lonely like me." I say.

She seemed like a pretty nice girl. "So are you all year or summer camper?" I asked

"Im gonna have to stay all year since earlier chiron told me monster killed my family when i was lost a little before i got here." i say sadly frowning

"me too." I say "I mean the year round thing." I feel bad because I can't relate to how she feels. I ran away like a coward. my mom didn't die. I just ran away because I didn't like her. thats all. I didn't give her a chance or tell her how I felt. I frown at myself as i get lost in thought and think of a million other things I couldn't relate to with other people.

I sigh then i remember that my Olde rbrother and My older sister and mom wouldnt want me to cry. I say "cool so i wont be completly alone then when im here during school."

I barely hear her. "uhh ya." I say not sure what to say since I haven't been to school in 2 years. I should be in 8th grade I think. "sorry I just haven't been to school in a while so I don't remeber what its like."

I say "School feels like a torture chamber ecpeasily when you dont have anyone to hang out with." i sigh then say "I should be in 8th grade also i was finally gonna be one this year but now im stuck here."

"I wish I was back at home it was so much quieter there." I say thinking of my tree house.

"I wish i was too." i say thinking about my archery range i set up in my back ard aka the woods i know it was cheap but it was pretty cool then my dog Duncan wakes up and walks over to me with a new jean jacket and shoes. "Where did you steal these from." i ask my dog and he looks ashambed but i keep them any ways.
