He looked at her. "Okay. H'm..." he quickly kissed her on the lips and sank to the floor

I stared at him shocked for a second before throwing my dagger at him, unlocking the door, kicking it open and stomping out of the room with a frustrated cry

This past month had been kind of great to me.I'd send two people in the infirmary after my legs and arms were healed and someone had repaired my dagger. So it'd been quite a nice time.I streched my arms above my head as I woke up and smirked,I was probably going for practise again.I got up and connected my MP4 to the radio so I could hear my music loudly as I cleaned around a little. After I was done,I picked a dark blue button-down shirt and another pair of black jeans and headed for the showers.I returned after a while and sat cross-legged on my bunk with my hair up in a ponytail as I tried to think of something to draw, staring at the empty paper in front of me and chewing the back of my pen

Juan rolled over from his bunk, eyes bloodshot and raccoon circles underneath them. His eyes met Emma's, obviously pleased with herself. The boy just arrived literally a few hours ago, and by the gods was he lost and confused. The centaur man, Chiron, told him that he was now claimed as a son of Lethe and needed to go to his new bunk, but everything was like a dream world. Here he was, an orphan with nothing to his name, and now he had a home, family, food, and even a gift supposedly from his godly mother. He sat upright in his bed, mouth agape on how a girl could look so, so brutal. The boy hoped she didn't act the same.

He sighed, looking down. "I have only just arrived at camp. I've walked for weeks, with my friend who ended up being a satyr. It was not exactly pleasant." he mumbled, a slight accent teasing its way in. Maybe this girl was like how she dressed.

I smiled softly at him but tried to hide it as I got up to ruffle his hair."Technically, you've been here for a while. You see,you were asleep two days now, ever since Chiron brought you in."I explained with a smirk

His eyes were glimmering slightly with interest. Was it really that long? He couldn't remember a thing except his hands acting like claws clutching his new gift and the faint greyness of a mist with an odd figure in it. He made a hmm noise. "Who is your godly parent then?"

He nodded, vaguely remembering back at school where they learned a little about Dante's Divine Comedy. Cocytus was the last river, in the ninth circle. Lethe, he couldn't remember which one was Lethe. "Mine is Lethe, daughter of Cocytus. What day is it?"

He gave a look of mild frustration and disappointment. "That doesn't help." Juan figured he'd ask someone later, but for now, he'd just assume it was Saturday. Saturday was a nice day, the first day of the weekend and all.

The boy shrugged. "I'm sorry." His stomach growled, and the boy realized just how hungry he was. If he was out for two days, then he hasn't eaten for...Fingers danced, trying to count the days. It had to be at least four without a proper meal. There were a few berries, and a bottle of water, but nothing huge. "Where is the mess hall?

I stood up and grabbed an apple."Eat this until we get there. You are way too thin and it's a long way."I advised him and went to grab my jacket."You have one?"

He grabbed the apple and munched on it greedily. It was small, so the starving boy finished it in a matter of minutes. Wiping the juice off his mouth, he answered "No, everything you see on me is what I have." Juan was almost anticipating her disgust-filled snarl; it'd be the most logical reaction.

I sighed and opened my closet, taking a black jacket and a scarf out for him."Here, these one must be enough. And after,we'll take you shopping. These clothes need washing and the winter is near, you can't keep walking around in a T-Shirt"I said softly and opened the door.
