by lexypaws 9/21/2013, 9:38 pm I walk through the fields with Daisy, my dog, at my feet. She stops and sniffs at something on the ground. She eats a fallen straw berry and continues on. I hold out my finger and a snowflake appears above it. It dances slightly above my finger and dissapears.

I was looking down at the strawberry plants as my cat, Penelope, starts to tug on her l leash. I look up and I see a girl, she looks about my age, with a dog.

I hear Daisy growl and turn to see a cat and a girl on top of the hill. I hold back Daisy and look over at the girl again.

Penelope starts to hiss so I pick her up. I pick up a strawberry and start to walk toward the girl to figure out who she is.

I tell Daisy to sit and I stand up. I see the girl start to walk toward me and I brush off my pants.

I see the dog sit as Penelope starts to hiss in meow to say that she wants to go somewhere else. I tell her its okay and I continue to walk toward the girl.

When the girl gets close enough to here I say "Hi, I'm Kaylie". I say.

I hear the girl say Hi so i replied, " Hi Kaylie, I'm Lily. What a cute dog." Penelope hissed again so I said, "Sorry about my cat she doesn't really like dogs."

"Thanks" I say back. Daisy slunks to the ground and crawls slowly towards the cat. She sniffed the cat and prepared to jump back in alarm. The cat hisses again and she jumps back in alarm. "That's Daisy." I laugh as she tries it again.

I say "aw sorry baby Penelope doesn't really like dogs until she gets to know them." Then I start to pet poor daisy when I see the scratches on her nose.

I see scratchs on her nose and I pet her head and say Good Girl. "Its fine Annie just curious." I say. Daisy tilts her head and looks at the cat. Then she lays down in the grass. I sit down next to her. I make another snowflake appear and watch dance above my finger. "New here?" I ask.
