Liam gasped. He maneuvered his way around the hill; his wheelchair wouldn't be very helpful down a hill that steep. It took him far longer than it should've, maybe five minutes, to get to a place where he could slide down the hill. Gasping, he realized suddenly where they were. "Vivian!" He called. "Vivian I know where we are! Vivian! It's Zephyros creek! I know how to get home from here!"

Re: Flying Pinecones
Vivian eyes grew wide when she heard what Liam said, she wasn't going to die today. Not here. That had to be the best news ever. "Oh my god Liam. I'm so happy I could kiss you right now!" The words came out before she could stop. Vivian's face went pink, "Uh...well, y'know figuratively."

Re: Flying Pinecones
Liam grinned, his teeth chattering. "I wouldn't mind that kiss," he flirted. But he quickly pulled himself together upon realizing how grave the situation was: they were both wet from the snow, but she was completely soaked in mud and water. "A-are you doing alright?" He asked.

Re: Flying Pinecones
Vivian wiped a splatter of mud from her cheek, "Other than feeling like I was attacked by the elements, I'm fine. Pretty sure the mud broke my fall. I probably look like hell frozen over." She tried to forget his comment that he made before. He must've been kidding, anyway. She'd deal with her feelings once she was warm. She did feel a little bit better, maybe from the adrenaline from falling down a hill. In a few minutes, it would all wear off and she'd be back to her freezing grumpy mood. "Well," Vivian prompted, "Lead the way."

"It's only about a half a mile this way to the camp," he said, pointing. It took him a minute to get his wheels unstuck from the frozen mud. But pushing hard, the mud gave way and he began leading the trek back to camp.

Re: Flying Pinecones
Vivian followed Liam, her legs were starting to get sore again. She considered starting up another conversation, but she wasn't sure what to talk about. She felt she had to say something, the silence between them felt awkward. "So," She started, trying to keep her teeth from chattering every time she spoke, "What's it like, being a son of Aphrodite?"

Re: Flying Pinecones
Liam stuck his tongue out, being careful not to bite it due to chattering teeth. "It's awful. You tell 'em that Aphrodite's your mom and suddenly everybody thinks you're vain and shallow and a bloody idiot," Liam complained. He looked up, suddenly, casting a glance at Vivian's pale complexion. "Do you feel alright? Look maybe we should head to the infirmary after this. Hypothermia is a real possibility out here,"

Re: Flying Pinecones
Vivian smiled, "Well, if it means anything to you, I don't think you're an idiot." She was tempted to deny Liam's offer, somewhat offended that he thought she needed medical attention. Sadly, he would be right. "Yeah, sure." Vivian said, trying to sound nonchalant. It was safe to say that Vivian hadn't been in colder weather before. She was used to warm conditions year round, complete with blue skies and tropical flowers. Instead she got a foot of snow and hypothermia.

"You're slurring," He said. Looking up, the lights of camp came into view. "Look'it that!" He exclaimed excitedly.

Re: Flying Pinecones
"I am?" Vivian asked, "I hadn't noticed." When Liam pointed out the camp, Vivian let out a sigh of relief, "Thank god!" she exclaimed. She looked to Liam, "So to the infirmary, yeah?"

"Yeah," Liam said. He sounded exhausted- he was exhausted. Pushed hard on his wheels, he pushed through the snow, heading towards camp.
