The Tears of the Phantom

Sitting on a large boulder near a small creek in the Northern Woods, Allen Walker sat, both mourning his foster father, and wondering who his father was and why he abandoned him. After drying his blue-gray eye, he looked at the night sky, brilliantly twinkling full of stars, bringing slight joy at seeing the beautiful memorials of heroes who have exceeded beyond mortality, to be forever remembered. He ten sighed sadly and jumped off the boulder, lading in a crouch and re-filling his canteen with water.

Charlotte walked into the forest her sword on her back. She was humming sweater weather while skipping to the beat.

OOC: XD I set a depressing seen then you come in and ruin it with your happiness! Meanie.

Hearing something, Allen stands up and looks around the area, before seeing a girl who looks about 16. He then walks over to the boulder he was sitting on and picks up his sword, strapping it to his back. After ensuring that his claw was secured, he walks over to her.

Ooc: mwahahhahaha

Bic: Charlotte noticed the boy and walked past him. "Hola." She raised her hand and waved before continuing to walk.

"Yo." Allen said nonchalantly, before asking "If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing way out here? It isn't exactly safe to go for walks and such." He then started to look around so as to ensure that they would not be ambushed by monsters.

"Pshh. I can take a monster." She walked backwards and looked at him. "I wanted to take a stroll."

Allen's eyebrow raised at this, before asking "Why here and not where it is a little more safe? Add that to the fact that it is night time, there is a very large chance of you running into several monsters. At night. In the middle of the monster-infested forest." he said, deadpanning.

"Aren't you just a ball of sunshine. I have cat eyes. Daughter of bast." She pointed to her eyes and leaned against a tree.

Allen smirked mischievously as he sliced his hand behind his back so she wouldn't see. He then called a ghost from the Underworld, and said "Oh really? Then what's that behind you?" he said, gesturing with his non-bloody hand at the ghost which had just taken shape behind her.

Charlotte looked behind her not even blinking. "It appears to be a ghost." Charlotte turned her attention back to the boy. "I've seen much worse in the real world. It takes a lot to scare this cat."

Allen frowned and sighed. "You can leave Dillon. Oh yeah, and tell your kids I said hi." he said, talking to his deceased neighbor. As the ghost disappeared, a growling noise echoed throughout the clearing.

OOC Let's see how a kitty deals with the big bad hellhound XP

Charlotte turned towards the noise. "Hellhound..." She unsheathed her sword and climbed the tree. "What out dude."

Allen quickly darted his non-clawed hand to his belt and whipped out three throwing knives, then threw them in the direction that he heard the growls. Hearing an ear-piercing yelp and a small poof sound, he was satisfied until he heard several more simultaneous growls. Allen saw three more hell-hounds stalking out of the tree line. Cursing, he unsheathed my (6 FT LONG!!!!) Sword and got into a ready position. "Would you like one, or two?" Allen asked politely.

Charlotte pursed her lips and took out some throwing stars. "Two would be nice."

Allen grins and says "I'll take the middle one." before darting towards the middle hell-hound with his sword in hand, and jumping at it.

Charlotte whistled drawing the hell hounds towards her. "Here doggies." She threw two throwing stars at one of the hell hounds hitting it directly inbetween the eyes. It disentigrated and she lunged at the other one with her sword raised.

As Allen closed in on the hell-hound, it ran towards him and he lept over it just as the hell-hound pounced. Twisting his body in mid-air, he thrust his sword downwards in an attempt to pierce the hell-hound. It dodged to the side and as it was about to most likely bite a chunk out of Allen, he thrust his Stygian Iron claw straight down the hell-hound's throat, but not before getting several nasty gashes on his chest.

Charlotte landed on top of the hellhound. She trusted her sword into the monsters neck, it disapeared instantly. "You need help?"

Pulling his clawed arm out of the disappearing hell-hound's throat, Allen shook his head. "Nah, I'm fine." he said. "Just a little worn out."

"Obviously." She leaned against the tree again and sheathed her sword.

"Although it is more from the ghost thing than the fight." Allen said calmly, rummaging through his bag and finding some bandages while taking off his shirt and wrapping the wounds.

"Oh." Charlotte took a milk jug out of her bag and chugged some.

After bandaging the wounds, Allen slid his cloak on, but left his shirt off and climbed on top of the boulder, laying down and looking at the stars.

Charlotte put the jug away and looked at him. "I never got your name mister."

Sitting up, Allen jumped down from the boulder and said "Allen Walker, son of Melinoe at your service." while doing a mock bow.
