by Holly 2/13/2014, 4:12 amLindia Inetia walked along the path from the first cohort barracks towards the stables, excited to meet Chance there, and hopefully take a ride on a horse with him along the side of the Little Tiber. She had already completed her daily training, and dug a few more trenches as she had been asked…no, ordered to. It was the life of a legionary though, work for the legion until she completed her term in the army. She could not wait for that day to come, but for today she was mostly excited for the ride! Thankfully, she had time to change and fix her hair before the scheduled time she had made yesterday at Chance’s bunk.
When she had stopped by her bunk she had brushed her hair back into a ponytail, leaving some of her dirty blonde bangs to frame her pale face and pointed chin. She had managed to set a streak of a blood red in her hair and had actually touched up her eyes with a bit of makeup, to further show her electric blue eyes. She was dressed casually, she didn’t feel the need to actual dress to impress, this was Chance and she was pretty sure he was already falling in love with her. Her ripped, dark jeans encased her slender thighs, a silver chain hanging from the waistband, and a nice leather belt around her thin waist. She wore a graphic tee on top, just some random one she had picked out that had in bold, white letters on the black fabric that proclaimed ‘Escaped from Alcatraz, if found DO NOT RETURN’
Her converse sneakers made a dull sound on the stone as she entered the stables, the stone becoming dirt. She walked up to a sleek black stallion that she had claimed for her own, and had taken quite an emotional connection to. She had been early, and that is what she had wanted. She lifted the saddle off the wall and grunted, putting it onto her horse as her sheath and sword bounced against her thigh.
