Aarya wandered along the forest, really her favorite place now the she didn't really have any friends. Back to her depressing self. It felt almost normal, waling through the forest, seeing the shadows that the trees cast everywhere.
She had her dark hair down, which was unusual for her. It framed her face nicely, but she needed to get it cut terribly. Her orange camp shirt was visible under her light jacket, and she wore normal dark jeans. Her dark eyes searched the trees for something interesting to do, but didn't really register anything as 'exciting' or 'entertaining'. Go figure.

Rosemary wandered through the woods, her small nose buried in a book, glancing up every few seconds so she wouldn't run into a tree and get yelled at by a nymph. Her copper blonde hair was pulled back into a messy bun, and she wore an orange CHB shirt over her stonewashed jeans.
She had just reached chapter 42 of Everything You Need to Know about Greek Mythology and More.. when she heard a sound. Nothing big, in fact it might have been her imagination, but she was sure she heard it. Her gray eyes scanned her surroundings, praying it wasn't some monster. She had almost given up, when she spotted her. A girl, probably her age, with curly dark hair down her back.
Rosemary tiptoed back from her, not wanting to be seen, because gods all she wanted to do was read. But of course, being her unlucky day, the girl spotted her.

Aarya saw some girl with a book about mythology. She rolled her eyes at the girl, wondering who walked and read at the same time, although Aarya had never had had the patience to actually finish a book, nor had she ever had the desire to. She had focused more on athletic things, and hadn't received a proper education, considering she had lived at this camp since she was about 8. Not really wanting the girl to actually talk to her, Aarya walked swiftly, silent as a shadow, over to a tree, looking for hand-holds. She found some quickly, and almost let out a smile. Soon, she was at the top of a large oak, a feeling of bliss rushing over her. The shadows reached out to her as they always did when she was happy, sad, neutral, or really in any mood. It sucked and was wonderful all at the same time.

Rosemary watched the girl scramble up the tree. She obviously did not want to talk to her, which was fine with her. Don't get her wrong, she wanted to talk to the girl, but her shyness stiffened her to even try. Instead, she walked over to tree, softened with moss and sat down to read her book. Every once in a while she looked up at the girl, still perched in the large oak tree. And about once or twice, when she looked up, she swore the dark haired girl was staring back.

Aarya felt like a creeper, perched high in a tree, watching the girl read. She couldn't tell what the girl was reading, and almost wanted to drop from the tree... almost. After a few minutes of precious silence, Aarya was tired of no socializing... or actually she was just annoyed that this girl wasn't more amusing. She wasn't very talkative herself, and didn't really know what all to talk about. Not books. Probably not much else. Her only friends had been boys, and she frankly didn't know how to talk to a girl without ripping her own hair out. She really needed to find better girls to talk to...

Rosemary was almost excited when the girl looked like she was going to come down. The girl looked anxious, and Rosemary had the feeling the girl was getting bored. No kidding She thought I'm a very boring personThe girl wriggled in her spot looking for the best way to get down, but then stopped.Rosemary's stomach twisted in knots, worry was overwhelming her. She wasn't the most social of girls. Actually, she really had only talked to Victoria and Annabeth. She longed for a new friend, but her shyness glued her mouth shut. Rosemary tucked a loose lock of hair behind her ear and waited, not doing a good job of hiding her stares. She was sure the girl had notice by now.

OOC: Oh my god I am so sorry it took me too long to reply... if this happens again feel free to PM me...
    BIC:

Aarya was aware of the other girl staring at her. She didn't necessarily like it all that much. "Hey." Aarya called to her, tilting her head to the side.
Aarya adjusted her body and leaped to the ground, landing only inches from the girl. She had drawn her sword in the process. She started to circle the girl, studying what she wore and what she was reading. Aarya really didn't like to read, because she wasn't very good at it. She wasn't taught how to until she came to camp, when she was about 8. This is why she liked to stick to combat. Finally coming to a stop a foot in front of the girl, Aarya sat on the ground, after te girl was deemed not to be a major threat... That was probably rood... oh well.

Stunned, Rosemary squished herself against the dirty, rough bark of the tree, willing to get as far away from her as she could.
"Um m-may I help you?" She asked. She kept her gray eyes down, pretending to be suddenly interested in her shoelace.

Strange question, but okay. Usually people just looked at her, rolled their eyes and walked away. "No..." Aarya started, wondering what else to say. I should never have jumped... I should have just stayed in that tree! What was I thinking! She eyed the girl and contemplated using her powers to get out of this. That would be useful, but she was already tired and the use of her powers would probably make her pass out instantly. She couldn't do anything exciting, so she just stood there awkwardly.
