Lindia walked along the stone streets of the military camp, her black leather combat boots stomping along the ground with a satisfying thud with each step. The hard, dark boots encased her feet up to her ankles, where it met with the trekking trousers that covered her shapely thighs up to her thin waist, the dark camouflage patterns all over the pants. As she approached the other end of the camp she raised her pale hand over to her head and brushed a dozen strands or so of her dirty blonde hair past her ear and over her shoulder. Streaks of red and charred tips of black made her hairstyle distinct from the others in her cohort, the length of her hair running to the middle of her back; let loose and wild.
She approached the building that was the armory for the legion: she needed to acquire a new shield since her last one had been bashed apart by the mighty elephant in the last war games. Absentmindedly the child of trivia pulled on her black shirt, the sleeves sliding down to her elbows where the fabric changed to a black netting, which continued to her wrists. A leather cuff latched onto her right wrist, held firm on her delicate skin by a metal clasp. A pair of dog tags hung from her neck, bouncing on her chest as she walked. Her Alcatraz key-chain hung off of her black leather and studded belt, though as she passed her hand over the top of it it shimmered and transformed into her golden sword inside of it's sheath, expanding down her thigh.
On the other side of her waist hung her empty quiver. She had arrows, plenty back in her bunk; but she was always looking for special arrows whenever she visited the armory. She pursed her lips together as she opened the heavy door to the armory and walked inside, looking along the shelves of weapons and armor until her electric-blue eyes rested upon the stacks of standard shields. After shutting the door behind her she walked over to them, and picked up one, feeling it's weight upon her arm. She set it down again, and then paused as the door creaked open behind her.
