We don't care what they say
We will be here all day
We'll stay here till it's over
Till the world's out of sight
    We will stand
    We will fight
It's not over till it's over

    Name:
This girl’s full name is Clara Alyssa Arsenault. Her name doesn’t have any fancy meanings or anything like that. No odd backstory as to why she has her name. Her mother just liked the names Clara and Alyssa. Her last name isn’t anything special either. It has no meaning, well, for all that the girl knows. It’s just a basic last name. Some people have extremely odd names around camp and Clara is very content with having her name. It’s easy to pronounce, short, and doesn’t make people wonder what would make her parents name her that.

    Age:
Clara was born on December seventeenth, in the year of nineteen ninety-seven. If you cannot find yourself able to do the math, I shall just tell you that she is sixteen years of age.

    Gender:
She is a female, which is quite obvious from looking at her. She has a very feminine frame and it is almost impossible to mistake her for a male.

    Eyes:
Clara has olive pit black eyes that she inherited from her mother. They often have a playful gleam to them and seem to radiate kindness. Some people have remarked that her eyes seem as if they are soul-piercing, but the girl doesn’t think so.

    Hair:
Dark-brown and naturally slightly curly hair cascades down from her head, frames her face perfectly, and comes to a stop at the middle of her chest/back. Clara usually doesn’t do anything to alter the way her hair is, she likes the slight curl that it always has to it. Very rarely does she put it up into a loose bun or ponytail. She likes it just as it is.

    Height:
Clara is on the short side, standing at a height of five feet and two inches. This is also something inherited by her mother, who is even shorter at five feet on the point.

    Body Type:
Clara’s body is very athletically toned. She does her best to try to keep herself in shape. She is quite curvy and, as with most of her looks, is content with it. She doesn’t want herself to change in any way. To her, she has the perfect body style, height, and weight. She doesn’t aspire to be someone else. She embraces who she is and doesn’t want to change.

    Skin Color:
During the summer, Clara usually takes on a severe tan that greatly alters her skin color. During the winter, fall, and early spring her true skin color shows. This color is quite a pale shade of caucasian, which is why the girl likes to tan. If there is any imperfection that she notices, it is most definitely her skin tone. She feels as if she is too pale and looks too sickly when she looks at herself in the mirror. The demigod wishes she looked like how she does during the summer at all times of the year.

    God Parent:
Clara’s godly parent is Hermes and the girl is absolutely fine with that. She would rather not be the daughter of some big-shot god or of some god who nobody has ever heard of. Her father suits her quite well and she has no disappointment about it.

    Mortal Parent:
Elise Mary Arsenault is the name of Clara’s mother. She is a very good-natured person and is quite likeable. She has many friends and is probably where Clara inherits her sweet nature from. Mrs. Arsenault always has the right things to say to someone, no matter what the issue is. Clara was very close to her mother and she respects her. Her goal in life is to be someone like her. Someone who is kind and gentle, yet able to hold their own out in the world. Elise Arsenault got married to another man by the name of John Greary when Clara was five. John, just like Elise, is a very gentle and kind man. Clara likes her step-father; to the point where she calls him plainly “dad” and thinks of him as her true father. She knows that her true father is a god, but he isn’t really much of a father figure to her. John was and is though, so that is who Clara declares to be her father.

    Country of Origin:
Clara is from the country of Canada, more precisely from the city of Toronto. Clara knows how to tolerate basically any weather type, besides the extremes. Cold winters and blazing hot summers have hardened her skin, making her much better at withstanding chilly or burning temperatures. The climate of Toronto almost matches New York, so the move from her home city to Camp Half-Blood brought no issues when it came to temperatures.

    Pets:
Clara isn’t really an animal person. At her home her mother owns two cats and Clara tolerates them. They don’t bother her and she doesn’t bother them.

    Talents:
This demigod doesn’t have many talents, but she has enough to compose a short list out of. She isn’t the type of person who can do almost anything she wants like some kids at camp who like to show off that they can. The girl is a very kind person and always knows what to say to comfort someone or to boost a person’s confidence. She most likely gained this talent from her mother, who is able to do so as well. Another thing is that she is very flexible and a good gymnast. She took lessons starting at the age of five and ending when she had to leave her home for Camp Half-Blood at the age of fourteen. Clara is also a very brave person. She doesn’t know fear, and if she ever crosses paths with it, she stares it down straight in the face and tackles it. She believes that if she has little fears, she will be able to live a happier life, which is quite true. Not having to worry much about almost everything is something most people would kill to be able to achieve. While she is quite courageous, Clara does not flaunt it. She is not a boastful person. She likes to keep her talents hidden until needed.

    Weapon:
Clara doesn't really enjoy fighting too much, she prefers to talk things over and be kind. This makes her not the best demigod out there. She doesn't have a constant craving for blood like some creeps do at camp. The girl has never had to use a weapon on a person or a monster yet, which makes her quite happy. She actually doesn't even own a weapon to call her own. When she has to use a weapon for sparring, she just grabs a basic sword and shield out of the armory. Clara never intends to have her own weapon. She wants to stay as passive as she can be. The girl doesn't ever dream or plan of hurting people. It's not in her nature at all.

    Personality:
As mentioned quite a bit in earlier sections, Clara is a very gentle demigod. She tries to keep herself away from trouble and always in the green. The demigod also tries to stay as kind as possible as well. She doesn't ever want to be mean to people. She may have a bad day every once in a while, but she tries to control her attitude as best as possible. Clara always has kind words to share with people and enjoys doing so. It makes her happy to see other people happy. She never was the type of person to get easily angered or be revengeful, she never saw a need to be and hopes she never will. Clara is quite an energetic girl as well. It is advised to not give her any form of caffeine.

    Flaws:
Sometimes Clara is too kind to people. She never notices when some person is taking advantage of her by simply using her. This has caused issues in the past and most likely will in the future as well. The demigod also is too loyal to her friends and loved ones. She will throw her life in immediate danger if that means that everyone else will be safe. The girl is too courageous at times. She acts first and asks questions later. She won’t think twice to do something that could save someone or that looks fun to do. The demigod is lucky she hasn’t found herself dead yet because of her risk-taking. She may be very kind and gentle, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t enjoy the feeling of adrenaline pulsing through her veins. At times the girl is also a bit over-emotional. Sometimes she doesn’t know how to take a joke or she is having a bad day and someone says something to her and she’ll just break down. She tries to control her emotions to the best of her ability, but sometimes she cannot find the strength to do so.

    Powers:
Clara does not have any powers and she is absolutely fine with that.

    Life Before CHB:
Life was pretty basic for a young girl by the name of Clara. Her father supposedly left her mother after he found out that he was going to have another daughter. This left her mother emotionally damaged for quite some time, but she managed to pick herself back up again and keep marching on a short while later. She wasn’t going to raise her daughter by being woeful and constantly dwindling on the past. She had to be a positive figure for her daughter. Someone she would look up to. And that she was.

Clara’s mother learned about her daughter’s true identity as a demigod when the girl was in first grade. While the girl was in school and her mother was home sick, the mother was visited by her past lover: the god Hermes. The god revealed who he truly was and it took some godly powers to get Elise to believe, but Hermes got her to. He gave her specific instructions on what to do with the girl when she got older, and that was to bring her to Camp Half-Blood. Clara’s mother promised Hermes that she would do so and then he was gone in the blink of an eye.

At the age of five, Clara got a new dad. She always knew that she was different from other kids at her school, for they all had dad. Why didn’t she? Was she just unlucky? She wasn’t really aware that kids were born with dads, for she apparently wasn’t. When she first met John Greary, a man her mother had started dating, the girl was ecstatic. She would finally have a dad. It took a little while to explain that he wasn’t her father, but the message got across to a crushed little Clara. She wasn’t going to have a father. She was going to have a step-father! Her mother found it too tough to explain that this man probably wasn’t going to become her step-father either, so she let her daughter believe that he was going to become it. All of Clara’s hopes came true when later in that year John proposed to Elise. She said yes and thus Clara’s family was completed. She had a mom and a dad now.

John treated Clara like a daughter and that made Elise happy. She didn’t want the two to be awkward like how some kids are with their step-parents. They went on living a happy life. It was at the age of fourteen, at her birthday party that her mother told her that she had bought her a plane ticket to New York as a present. Clara was extremely joyous, for she was delighted in the fact that she was going to be travel to a whole different country.

After obtaining her passport among other things, Clara was finally able to go to New York to some sort of summer camp a month or so after her birthday. The girl was extremely excited and could not wait. She counted down the days and eventually it came. She got on board the plane, said goodbye to her parents, and unknowingly, her past life.

Clara arrived at Camp Half-Blood on a humid and buggy July day. She had taken a taxi from the airport to an address that led her to a back road that seemed to have been well used. No buildings or anything were in sight though. The girl got out of the cab and took in her surroundings as the taxi cab sped off seemingly into the sun. At first the girl thought it was all a trick and got very upset, but then she heard a voice calling unto her. She turned her head and saw a young boy, maybe a year or so older than her, heading towards her. He told her to follow him to the camp and that she did. Thus began Clara’s new life as a demigod.

    RP Example:
Glancing up at the large wall, Clara groaned. It was huge and consisted of spinning circles, lava, and pole that would knock you down to the ground. How was she going to be able to accomplish this? And also, how come the wood that the wall was constructed of did not burn? Maybe it was faux wood. Whatever, that didn’t really matter. The demigod bent down and rubbed her knees that were covered by a pair of light jeans. It was blistering hot out, but the girl sadly didn’t have any shorts clean. Only pants. Pants weren’t the best thing to climb in, she had learned that from experience a few days back. Oh well, time to try again.

Any notes about your characters: Clara’s color is #999999.
