Life Before CHB*: Marcus Beatty lived a normal life up until he turned 7 when his mother told him his father was a god. then a year later he was attacked by a gorgon. then he ran away at age 10 to protect his mother. He met a satyr in Virginia and he brought him to camp.
When he and the satyr were attacked by a hydra he slashed off a head and revealed  his power over fire and torched the stumps.
