Name: Her full name is Carmen Eugenia Maria Montoya. Her mother picked out her name, wanting to make sure that her father was not allowed to have say in her child's name. That's one of the reasons she hates her name. Her friends call her Eggie because of her middle name or just plain out Carmen. Her name has no special meaning, there just a bunch of names her mother liked.

 
Gender: If you can not tell by now, she's obviously a female.

Mortal Parent: Maria Montoya, a middle age Argentine women. With light blonde hair and gray eyes, everyone believes that Carmen is a spitting image of her mother. But Carmen hates her. And she has a reason. When Maria met Seth while she was touring Spain on a business trip, she had thought she fell instantly in love. But that love soon turned to hate when Seth jumped her after their first date. 2 months later, when Maria returned to Argentina, she soon found out that she was carrying Carmen. Maria obviously hates Carmen since she is that offspring of Maria and Seth and torments her whenever she can, whether it's hitting or insulting.

God Parent: Seth, Egyptian god of chaos, desert, storms, disorder, violence and foreigners. While visiting Spain, Seth layed eyes on Maria and soon impregnated her with Carmen. Of course he didn't find out that Carmen was alive until he saw the baby sleeping in the crib crying one night. He wanted to be able to comfort the baby but couldn't so he watched over her until he was able to see her off to Camp Half-Blood. Carmen honestly loves her father more than her mother.

 
Date of Birth: Wednesday, December 25, 1996 (18 years of age). Yes, her birthday is on Christmas, which is why its her favorite holiday as well.

Place of Birth: Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, South America

Hometown/Last Residence: Her mother moved the family around South America a lot, to places like Brazil, Peru, Columbia, but they finally settled down in La Paz, Boliva.

Race/ethnicity: Argentine

Accent: Argentine. Her accent is thick and heavy even when she talks English. When she starts speaking in Spanish, her accent gets even thicker and heavier and sometimes only fluent Spanish speakers can understand her.

Skin Tone: A slight tan. Though she didn't get much sun as a child, her skin tans very easily, earning her peach colored skin.

Eye Color: A mix between blue and gray. No one knows why its like that but Carmen admires her eye color.

Hair Color: Dirty Blonde. When she was 8, the child found her mother's hair dye in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. After applying some dye to her hair, her once blonde roots turned brown and her hair became streaked with thin brown streaks, much to her mother's displeasure.

Hair Length: The tips of her hair end a couple inches below her shoulders.

Height:Carmen stands at the height of 6 feet, though she wishes she was a couple inches taller.

Weight: She is 169 lbs.

Body Type: Slim and lean, with medium sized curves.

Appearance: Carmen has the appearance of your typical punk girl. Her head is oval shaped, her cheeks pushed in slightly, giving her that mature look. Her hair is naturally wavy, she cut her locks nice and choppy. Her eyebrows are bushy and thin, her eyes shaped wide. Her thin lips are always chapped and dry, due to her inability to wear chap stick. Her nose is too small for her liking. She has a nose piercing on the left side of her nose and on the right side of her lip.

Dressing Style: carmen perfers to wear dark clothing, no girly things or bright colors. Shirts like graphic tees or tank tops that have her favorite bands and movies on it. Skinny or regular jeans that are ripped up, shorts with chains attached. Converses or boots for shoes. And she mostly has her hair left down or tied up in a ponytail.

Weapon: Carmen loves fighting and owns a wide variety of weapons.
-Her first choice of weapons is a retractable whip. Its handle is made of sturdy copper but the trim is outlined with celestial bronze and the line has barb wire wrapped around, making it sting much more worse. The whip can reach out to anything that is in a 6 ft area around Carmen.
-She owns a crossbow that is made of oak wood. To accompany her crossbow, she has 42 arrows that's point is outlined with celestial bronze. She keeps her arrows in her quiver and her crossbow strapped to her back.
-Lastly, Carmen owns a celestial bronze dagger that she named Sandstorm. It is 19 inches.

Armor: Carmen's armor is light so that she can move easily around in it.
-Her chest and arms are protected by a celestial bronze breastplate. On the back of the breastplate, there is a snake outlined in green that she had the forgers indent there.
-Her helmet is big, covering most of her face, and protects her ears, forehead, and head. There is eye holes where her eyes are so she can see.

Pet(s): Pets aren't really something that Carmen enjoys. Like, she's okay with animals but she can't handle having a pet of her own.

Skills/Talents:
-Carmen had always enjoyed taking pictures and she is very good at it. She prefers to take pictures of bland scenery and uploads it to her computer, editing and making it unique.
-Carmen speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese, and she is still learning Italian and French.

Flaws:
Mental
-Carmen's a smoking addict. She needs to have at least one pack of cigarettes each day or else it will be a bad day for everyone.
-Carmen's used to moving around a lot so for some reason she can't sleep in the same place for more than 3 days.
-Carmen's callous, or that means that she doesn't show emotion. Even if shes extremely happy, all you'll see is a blank expression on her face. The only expression you'll probably see is an angry face.
-She's a huuuge procrastinator. If she needs to do something, it'll take her a few days or else she'll do it at the last minute.
-Carmen was born with diabetes. She needs to eat at least 2,040 calories a day or else she'll become weak and unhealthy.
Physical
-She was born with a birthmark that is shaped like a sun on the back of her shoulder. It's strange, yes but it's kinda cool.

 
Strengths:
+Carmen is pretty agile, so she's very good when it comes to fighting.

Carmen's more of a girl with a bad attitude and slight anger. ever since she was a little girl, she's taught herself to keep to herself and if someones giving her bullish*t, she's gives it back to them. her mom never paid any attention to her so relationships and friendships aren't her strong point, which is why she'll never talk to anyone by herself. authority, well, she doesn't handle it well, along with people who are older than her.

Powers:
∆When she concentrates hard enough, she can create an aura that sends everyone around her in a complete state of chaos. People will go into many different shades of anger, disorder, and violence and most of the time they can't be pulled out. The aura only effects people in a 29 ft radius and lasts for 20 minutes. She'd have to wait an hour in between and can do this ability 4 times a day. Most of the time it can't be resisted unless the victim steps out've the area limit.
if she goes over this limit, a wave of nausea foods through her and a mild headache come to her.
∆if carmen is in a desert or a beach, she can create a sandstorm. Its a huge twister, with winds of 43 miles an hour, that swirls the sand in a 53 mile radius up in the air for 11 minutes. The sandstorm causes people to lose their sense of direction, becoming confused, which lasts for 9 minutes, and blow light objects away. She can only do this once a day.
if she goes over this limit, she'll pass out for practically the entire day.

Social Status: carmen doesn't choose to socialize much, she'd rather hang by herself either in her cabin or in the deadly forest. she finds that part of the forest rather nice.

Summer or Year Rounder: year-rounder, her mother said that she wasn't allowed back home ever since she was claimed.

Years at Camp: 8 years, she was claimed at the age of 10, a day after she arrived.

Life Before Camp:
early years (newborn to age 4)-maria montoya never wanted to be a mother, it just happened. 9 months after she came back from spain, she gave birth to carmen. maria hated carmen ever since she came out.

"that baby was trouble ever since she was born." that was how maria described carmen.
home wasn't that great for carmen either. maria spent no time taking car of the newborn. constant crying, sleepless nights, maria left the care of the baby to a nanny named Nancy.

Nancy:

nancy was an american collage student that was studying abroad in south america. while in peru, nancy saw a meltdown carmen caused at the age of 2 while at the park and approached maria, offering her services as a full-time nanny in exchange for a place where she can stay for her studies. maria agreed automatically, glad she could take the baby off her hands.
nancy was caring to the small toddler, showing love that maria never showed to carmen. carmen loved nancy and enjoyed her company , the american playing with the toddler whenever she wasn't studying. unfortunately, nancy had to go back to america when carmen started preschool.

school years (preschool-4th grade)- school wasn't as good as home either. at the of 4, carmen learned how to take care of herself. her mother was only there for her when the same thing came to her through emails and phone calls.

"ms. montoya, carmen has been acting up again." it was the same routine every day.

claiming- at the start of 4th grade, carmen made a new friend, his name was julio.

julio:

carmen didn't know this but he was a saytr, sent to watch her. it wasn't until the middle of 4th grade when julio confronted carmen. he told this though while they were running away from a pack of hellhounds that were stalking by their school.

"look, I don't want to sugar coat this but I need to take you somewhere where we won't die." and after they lost the hellhounds he took her to chb, where she was claimed the night after her arrival.

Role-playing Example: there wasn't much egyptain kids at camp so carmen didn't have many people to sit with during meals. she didn't really mind, it gave her time to just listen to her music full blast. carmen didn't even need to sit at her table but she didn't have many friends to talk to and thats fine with her.
her outfit consisted of her cropped leather jacket, her stuff the monarchy T-shirt, and her dark grey combats with black boots. her blonde hair was left alone, her locks still choppy and uneven. she may look depressing but she was wearing her favorite outfit.

carmen was happily munching on her grilled cheese when a bunch of rowdy voices disrupted her pleasant silence. it was a group of hermes boys, they seemed excited about a burping contest. how mature. with a simple scoff, the argentine gathered her stuff and left. she hated those guys.
