- Edward walks through the Strawberry Fields, with Naomi holding onto his arm. Still dressed in prom attire, the two casually walked across the field under the light of the stars above them. At Camp there were a million stars. Edward had never seen so many, seeing as he grew up in Paris, a pretty large city with light pollution. He stopped for a minute and gazed upwards towards the heavens. "It's beautiful yeah?" He says, turning to Naomi.

Re: On a walk after dark
"Yeah" Naomi whispered softly, smiling. She loved the stars, they looked like mini diamonds floating above them. Before she came to camp, she never had seen anything like them. The stars and constellations here seemed to shine brighter and prouder. Her hair had started to fall out of her braids and she didn't look her best, but she really didn't care. It felt weird to her, the only person she had ever not cared how she looked like in front of was her father, and he had died when she was seven. In other words, it had been a long time since she felt relaxed about her appearance.

Re: On a walk after dark
- Edward returns the smile. He looked at Naomi and once again noted how amazing she looked. The two were completely alone in the field, seeing as most campers were in their cabins and the rest were either at the after party that usually followed prom. At least Edward assumed there was an after party, like there usually was in the regular world. "Would you like to sit?" He asks, indicating the ground in front of them. This seemed a good a spot as any to sit and star gaze. Edward used his free hand to loosen his tie, which was bothering him because it was a little too tight for his liking.

Re: On a walk after dark
"Definitely." Naomi whispered again, only slightly louder then before. She didn't want to say anything, but she had learned the hard way that wearing no shoes was not a good idea. Her feet had been pricked, jabbed, poked and bruised by rocks and sticks and thorns. You name it, she most likely stepped on it. Her small feet were turning black from the dirt, and what wasn't completely covered by the darkness of the dirt was a sore red color, and they hurt terribly.
She sat down, shifting her brown eyes between the sky and Edward. "Don't you just love the stars?" She asked, although she assumed she already knew the answer.

Re: On a walk after dark
- Edward sits down next to here, releasing a breath he didn't know he was holding. He smiles up at the stars taking everything in. "Yeah they are pretty awesome." He said, moving his eyes to look at her. Their eyes lock, and for a couple of second he just stares at her. He then breaks into a smile and asks "Do you know any constellations?" Edward had been taught some astronomy while he lived in Paris. Mostly for navigation purposes, finding his way while he was lost, at sea, or even lost at sea. He had been know to sneak out on the roof of the manor, and star gaze.

Re: On a walk after dark
"To be totally honest, not really. It just never really made any sense to me. How the Hades do they get scorpions and bears and hunters out of that?" Naomi said, splaying her arms dramatically towards the sky. She felt kind of embarrassed to say that she in fact did not know a ton about constellations, seeing as it seemed Edward did. Her cheeks turned a bit red. "Sorry." She realized that was probably a bit rude, and she didn't want to spoil the moment.

Re: On a walk after dark
- Naomi seemed embarrassed, but Edward didn't see what there was to be embarrassed about. He only smiled and let out a small laugh at what she had said, finding her frustration with the constellations funny, maybe even cute? Truly Edward didn't know his actual feelings for Naomi. Like was this someone he wanted to actually date? She seemed like a fun person and they would probably have a good time together. The only thing that bothered Edward was the secretes he would have to keep from her. He was thinking too much, and he had been staring at her the whole time. Awkward... he thought to himself, clearing his throat. "Would you like me to show you a few?" He asked with a slight grin.
