"The Happy Centaur"

After a small stop at my cabin for me to grab my jacket and wallet, I dragged Alcer out of camp and down the hill. There was a new restaurant near camp, owned by demigods. I knew about it because one of my older siblings worked there as an accountant. It was a 15 minute walk until the door of the restaurant "The Happy Centaur" and as soon as we made it there, I stopped and turned to look at my friend."Here we are!"

After being dragged along by Christine the entire time, Alcer dusted off his jacket slightly, looking up to see a restaurant. Looking around, he noticed that they were still in a generally uninhabited area. "So, shall we enter?" Alcer asked politely, holding the door open for her.

"Duh! That's why we're here, silly! I thought we could celebrate your first real meal here!"I said excitedly and stood on my tiptoes."Plus, I've heard they make awesome muffins!"I whispered in his ear and grinned at him. Waving at my brother at the cash register, I led us through the crowded space at a small table at the back."Do you like it?"

Grinning widely, Alcer said "I loved it the moment I heard you mention awesome muffins."

"That's why I said it. But that's desert. You have to eat something else first. And a salad"I said and opened my menu, quickly choosing what I wanted.

Sighing, Alcer looked through the menu, deciding on a double cheeseburger with spicy-seasoned fries and a large strawberry milkshake. He then looked through the salads, deciding on a chicken caesar salad. Fnally for dessert, he chose the trio of banana muffins.

Soon, the waiter came."I'd like a chicken soup and some water, please. What about you, Alcy?"

"I would like a double cheeseburger with spicy-seasoned fries and a large strawberry milkshake. Also, I would like a chicken caesar salad and the Banana Muffin Trio please." Alcer said to the waiter, grinning slightly.

Nodding and blushing, the teenage girl left with our order and I turned to Alcer with a huge, playfull grin on my face."Someone's got fans"

Coughing into his arm, Alcer said "It would be a hundred times worse if they knew who I was. Besides, I don't need any girls except you." Alcer said, Grinning. He then waited for about 15 seconds for her to misinterpret the words before saying "I mean, we are friends right? I don't need a million of them."

Now it was my turn to blush."Yeah, we're friends"I mumbled in agreement and gave him a small grin."So,um... How's life?"I asked after having to clear my throat twice

Smirking slightly, Alcer said "Well, considering that the last time I told you it was less than an hour ago, not much.

OOC: Honestly, every tm I look at the title I see "The Happy Couple" And I am like 'Wtf?

I scowled and sat up, crossing my arms."Don't make fun of me! I'm trying to be interesting!"

Grinning, Alcer said in a voice loud enough to be heard by several nearby waiters who he expected were demigods "More like you were trying to cover up your embarrassment.."

Sighing, Alcer just leaned back in his chair, bored. "I know, I know. I was joking."

"If only you were funnu too"I huffed sarcasyically and rolled my eyes."Any plans for tomorrow?"

Shaking his head, Alcer asked "No, not really. Why?"

"Nothing"I shrugged."I was just asking."

Alcer leaned back in a relaxed pose, waiting for their food to arrive. It was then that something brought itself to the forefront of his mind. "On a side note, my birthday is tomorrow."

I turned sharply to look up at him from gazing at the paintings adorning the walls."Really?! Wow, that's incredible! Happy Birthday! We could, uh, have a party, if you'd like! O-or we could spend the day doing whatever you want! Unless you want to spent it with your girlfriend, which is completely understandable"

Raising an eyebrow, Alcer said "What's the big deal? It's just my birthday. And what girlfriend?"

"Exactly, your birthday! Which you'd like to spend with your girlfriend. Girlfriend, you know? Love of your life or whatever sentimental s**t"I waved my hand, accidentally hitting the waitress that had brought the food and causing her to spill the hot soup all over myself

Raising his eyebrow slightly at her miniature speech, Alcer sighed when she caused the soup to spill on herself. Alcer then noticed that her clothes were covered in soup, and it most likely burned. Alcer then reached into the small bag that was tied onto his back, pulling out a black t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants. Blushing lightly, Alcer handed them to her before saying "You should change out of those clothes."

I nodded and grabbed the clothes, my face red from the heat and my blush as I rushed to the bathroom stammering apologises. I soon reaturned, having tied the shirt at my side to keep it from bagging too much on my frail form and the pants' legs so I wouldn't trip over them. The waitress was gone and a new plate of soup was in front of my empty speech. I sat down and lowered my head in shame."Sorry"I whispered
