What time was it? Douglas checked his watch. 00:23 in the morining. Douglas wasn't tired at all, he was punching the not-even-living sh!t out of these dummies. He hed his sword at his side, but he preferred using his fists for this sort of thing. And hit. And punch. And kick. And hit. One more punch. Carry on, Douglas. And hit. That had been his routine for the last... 2 hours? He had done some press-ups and other things to warm up. By now he was standing around shirtless, sweat-drenched but still ready to carry on fighting. His blade was poisoned, as in that there was pain-causing substance laquered carefully onto his sword. The CB light glowed faintly in the darkness, but the moon was shining so bright today, there wasn't a need for any of the Celestial Bronze. Douglas grunted as he got out his sword, and shouted insults that could've been heard halfway across the camp, as he had cut his arm accidentally. He ignored the pain, and got out a tissue to cover it. It wasn't even bleeding that heavily. Douglas practiced sparring and stabbing, and then some more defensive or trick moves. His shirt was lying in a heap near his water bottle. "Sh!t!" He called as the pain of the poison started to kick in. It was quite unbearable. He carried on though, shouting insults at himself and mainly the world and camp and everyone else in it. He panted once, drank something, then carried on. Most of the dummies had been shredded to the tiniest pieces, but there were still around 10 remaining he would need to finish. This is mainly how he kept in shape. And he was in good shape.

Nora wasn't able to fall asleep tonight. Well technically it could be count as last night since she was sure it was 12 or 1 a.m right about now. So taking a little late night stroll wouldn't hurt anybody right? Really though, she found the need for a curfew very stupid. What's wrong with staying up a little? She was walking past the arena door when she heard a string of curses and insults coming from inside. Someone weren't very discreet were they? She stepped into the arena, her eyes immediately going to the only person there besides her. That person just radiated bad boy persona, she laughed at the thought. But seriously, even from here she could see his tattoos. And he had a lot. Somewhat amused, Nora just walked around the arena from behind his back and observed him. Poor dummies, look at the havoc caused on them, straw fell to the floor. She sat on one of the nearby benches and pulled one of the razor sharp hair pins from her hair, commissioned sharply by none other than moi. She figured that walking around defenseless would be pretty stupid even if she did have her scythe chain hanging on her sweatpants. She used the sharp end of it to pick at her nails boredly waiting for the raging Hulk like boy to finally take notice of her. She'd been here for a few minutes after all. He must not to be the type to figure when someone's sneaking up on him if anything she's seeing now could be told.

Douglas saw someone walking in from the side. A girl? Probably. Douglas turned around to her, the tissue now soaked in blood. He smirked and called, "Well, whilst you're here doing absoloutely f*cking nothing other than cleaning your nails, can you go grab me some nectar?" He raised his eyebrows, because the girl was pretty. Really pretty. But Douglas couldn't stand pretty Aphrodite girls. Well, he could potentially stand pretty demeter girls or maybe Dionysus ones or whatever, but Aphrodite? No. Sorry, but no. But maybe if the girl got him some nectar he would decide to be nicer. "Go on now, run along." His muscle flexed as he turned around again, heading to the dummies in all calm-ness. He carried on hacking and slashing, and eventually, all the dummies were shredded. He walked over to the girl, but stopped a few feet infront of her. He came closer, and eventually he was whispering in her ear. "Didn't I tell you to grab some f*cking nectar? Or Ambrosia, I don't give a sh!t."

Nora ignored him the first two times simply because she was zoning out and staring into space. It wasn't until the boy was all in her personal bubble that she finally realized he was talking to her. No- actually from his tone of voice it sounded like he was ordering her around. Her hazel eyes snapped to his when she saw how close he was to her, practically whispering her ear, and telling her to go get some nectar or ambrosia for him. She raised a disinterest eyebrow at him and refrained from rolling her eyes at his arrogance. What did he take her for? A f*cking maid? "Sweetheart, last time I checked you have two legs and you aren't withering on the floor to the death so I'm sure a tough guy like you is capable of using them and go getting it yourself." Nora retorted condescendingly with a tilt of her head. Honestly, this guy was rude as hell and she didn't really feel like putting up with his antics. Must be some kind of Ares or something. Well he'd certainly fit the bill: rude and who in Hades goes to castrate dummies at nearly 1 in the morning? Since he was close enough, she flicked his forehead for good measure. "And did you ever learn of a concept called personal space? Seriously, how would you like it if I was all up in your face without even knowing who the hell you were?"

Douglas raised an eyebrow. Then he couldn't stop himself. His laughter started with a short pff and then ended up being uncontrollable. He coughed and then regained himself. "Oh, I sure wouldn't mind if the person was intresting, or perhaps attractive. But you asked me if I would like it if you were up in my space. And personally, I believe you aren't attractive or in any way intresting." Yes, Douggie had said earlier on she was pretty, but now? She was somewhat good-looking, but really not Douglas's type. At all. He then stalked off to get his shirt. As he put it in, he glanced at her then stuck out his tongue in a 'What're you looking at?' gesture. He walked off to that weird shed that was standing at the edge of the arena, and he picked up some ambrosia. Ate it. Hm. It tasted like cookies, although Douglas didn't even like cookies. Weird. He walked back out, then picked up some dummies and placed them down. He heaved more and more over, one after the over over to the place the others had been shredded. He could pick them up with no problem at all. He carried on with his procedure of slashing and hacking, and then started going back to sit-ups and press-ups from time to time. He shot the girl another 'What're you looking at' look, and went back to the dummies. He took his shirt of again. His lip piercing was quivering from exhaustion, so was his eyebrow one.

Nora rolled her eyes and stood up from her seat, dusting her hands off on her grey sweats. "It was a rhetorical question that you obviously didn't pick up on." She could care less when he said he didn't find her attractive because she certainly didn't need his validation to know she was beautiful. She flipped her hair back since it was getting in her face and placed the hair pin back in place, making sure that it didn't scratch her with it's razor sharp end. She raise an amused eyebrow when he stuck out his tongue at her, so childish for such a tough appearance. She yawned and did a few stretches as the guy started doing his own exercises. She was cracking her neck and her knuckles when he gave her a 'what're you looking at' kind of look. Once again, she rolled her eyes. She wasn't even looking at him, gods. He might've been mildly attractive but not to the extent she'd stare and gawk. She never stared and gawked at anyone in fact, it was stupid. She took the scythe chain off her side and swung it a couple times, just to get into the familiarity of it. Her siblings found it an odd weapon since most either had daggers, sword, or spears. Honestly, her weapon choices were creative choices. A scythe chain and gloves that extracted claws like some sort of Wolverine. But Nora liked her weapons. "So what's your name? Not a rhetorical question this time."

Douglas almost overheard the girl, as curses and grunts poured from his lips. "Hm?" He asked, all though he knew what the girl had said. "Douglas." He said and turned back around, taking another sip from his water. He wasn't in the mood for talking, he wanted more dummies to shred. Honestly, he wasn't here to chat with someone, much less someone from the Aphrodite cabin. Really. No. His black vans were muddy and Douggie didn't care, al, he wanted were some f*#king dummies. But he supposed he could talk to the strange girl for a few minutes. He threw his shirt over his shoulder and atleast tried to look somewhat un-annoyed. Which was basically impossible, because Douglas York looked like he was ready to kill someone at all times -- Eyebrow, lip and ear piercings, aswell as multiple tattoos over his body that showed all kinds of things like, for example, a rose that went around his ankle and left wrist.

"Someone seems grumpy," Nora noted with a small tilt of her lips as she looked over him in amusement. Man, did he have a lot of tattoos. And piercings for that matter too. The only piercing she had was her ear piercings though she rarely wore earrings. She stopped swinging her scythe and flicked the chain so that the two blades were up in the air, falling before she caught the blades by their handles in each hand with the chain swinging between them. "You must have a lot of energy to spend your nights- or mornings, destroying the innocent dummies. If you keep it up then they might run out or something." She hung the chain behind her neck, the two mini scythe blades falling by her arms. She stretched her arms lazily like a cat and bent backwards to the point where her hair touched the floor and strands fell free of the bun she had pulled it up in. When she came back up she gave the other boy a grin, "How about you spar with me instead?"
