Hogwarts Convention (PRIVATE)

Jason carried Tara down to a cab. He paid the driver and got inside after putting her down and opening her door for her (as well as shutting it). "After the cab drive we'll still be an hour or so away, so get used to cabs for the next two hours or so." He grinned at her, looking at her. "But I'm always here." Jason put an arm around her.

Tara scooted into the middle seat and held up Harry Potter and the Sorcerers stone. "Have you actually read this?"

"Pssshhh, I've totally..seen the movie," he said, a bit quietly.

"Seriously?!" She held out the book, "you've got like three hours."

"Alright, I'll read it." He took it from her, starting to read.

Tara read over his shoulder for a few minutes, but he was a lot slower than she was. So she ended up waiting or him to turn the page while she looked out the window. "You know you move your lips when you read?"

"Not until now. I barely read." After done with three chapters, he put a bookmark, and decided to tease her. "Oh, my lips, from doing that, they are so parched." He got a chapstick from his pocket and rubbed it on his lips. "Ah, so much better." He kept moving his lips and kept putting them in a kissing motion, hopefully making her want to kiss him badly.

Tara put her hand in his face, "No, I don't want to kiss you." She smiled and moved her head closer to his.

"OKay, if you insist," he teased, pursing his lips. "Mmmm, minty." He continued to move his lips in an up-down side-to-side motion.

She put her hand on her neck and lightly pulled him down to her. She stop inches from his face. "You smell nice."

"Of course. You do, too." He kissed her.

Tara let go of Jason and settled back into her seat. The driver was giving her dirty looks in the mirror for kissing in his cab. She held the book up over her face.

Jason laid back, relaxing, putting an arm around her again. "So, have you been to any-oh...wait...weren't..you...uhm..poor?" he said, a bit nervously.

Tara shrugged, "I was only eight when I lived in London. When the fourth movie came out though, another kid snuck me in. It was great. But, here in America I've gone a few years ago to a Doctor Who convention with a friend." She put the book in the middle seat and leaned on Jason. She moved her feet up to the empty seat as well and sighed.

Jason ran his fingers through her hair. "Who is this friend, if you don't mind me asking?"

Tara smiled just thinking about her friend outside of camp. "Daniel Jacobs, fellow poor kid of Manchester. He and I write letters back and forth and one day he just mailed me a ticket and said 'come'."

"Wait, you mean to America?"

"I live in America," she smiled. "He lives in London still."

"Ah, right. What did you write about, exactly?" he asked, a bit nosely. He wondered if Tara maybe had a crush on another dude; usually his girlfriends were all eyes on him, but she was different in a lot of ways, and maybe this was one; however, if she did like another dude, he wouldn't know what to do.

Tara blushed, "there kind of private."

"So you sent back and forth book reports, huh?" he joked. Jason kissed her forehead.

Tara couldn't stop blushing. Almost every letter was about him or some girl Daniel was after. They'd talk about other things like how much she was missing in London or something, but mainly relationship stuff. "Yeah, we are complete nerds that write letters in the form of essays," Tara held the book up again.

Jason noticed her blushing. He had a theory that the letters might've been about him, but he just let it pass by. Tara had gone through enough embarrassment in their last couple weeks or a month or so of dating. He looked out of the window, looking at the different places and such. "Maybe we should just stop here and grab a bite, like an early lunch. I'll buy you anything you want there...well, that they sell." He chuckled. Still looking in the window direction, he flexed his arm that was around Tara.

"Sure, do you even know where we are?"

"I think we're in the farthest point of Manhattan." He told the driver to stop and paid him. Jason got out, and opened the door for Tara. "Which restaurant looks good?"
