screw the box! i think outside of the straight-jacket!

Raven has been stuck on a plane for 7 hours, having to go to the bathroom for the last half of the flight. Plane rides were always boring, her legs always got numb and most of the time she's stuck next to some goon that has a weird habit that's annoying. Lucky for her, James got the privilege of sitting in the middle, Raven was by the window, next to the old lady who was asleep, her false teeth coming out with every snore. Unlucky for Raven, she was sitting in front of this very cranky toddler that kept kicking her seat.
When Raven's mom told her that she was heading to England for a little trip, Raven begged her mother to come with her. And when her mother reluctantly agreed, Raven begged her mother if she could bring James. Elizabeth wasn't so happy but she agreed again and Raven was ecstatic. They were flying into London, which was in the middle of semi-cold weather. After being in London for a while, they were heading to Cardiff to see James' family while her mother was heading to Wembley. If they still had time they'd head to Wembley with her mum.

"So, you ready to meet my mum luv?" She asked James in her posh accent, ruffling his hair like he was a kid. James may be older and more mature then her but she still treats him like a kid since she knows it bothers him a lot.
She was wearing her green army jacket, union jack tank, black jeans and her signature purple converse. She had just applied more purple dye to her hair before they took off, making the purple brighter then before. Her seat was kicked again and was tempted to take Dipper out've her pocket and slit the kids throat but she's not violent. All she did was glare at the kid again, who stuck his tongue out at her. She stuck her tongue back. The kid laughed.

James Fogleson didn't understand how he wound up here, on this tiny plane. He didn't understand how he got stuck in between a cranky old lady, and an actual old lady who's fake teeth were coming out. But then again, one of the main points in this agreement of leaving the safe oasis of camp was visiting his mum and dad--and a billion of his siblings. He was feeling a little home sick. And that sucks man.

James groaned as his friend since he was a little camper messed up his hair, "Oi, Raven! Do not call me 'luv'" James hated that word luv, he hated the world love as well to be honest. However, he was in love, but James only knew the half of it. Oh please, not with Raven. Raven was like one of his sisters, and he had enough sisters. He loved someone else, but that's another story for another time.

This story was all about how the little posh Brit and the farm boy from Cardiff were riding around Europe, dodging monsters and Raven's mother. James has never met Raven's mum, and to be honest he was scared to meet her. If she was anything like the purpled hair girl who was making faces at a kid, James would be in trouble. He scratched his stubbly covered cheek, raising his eyebrow. Demeter help him now.

"Oi, Raven! Do not call me 'luv'" Raven chuckled, ruffiling his hair again. James has this thing against the word luv or even love for weird reasons, Raven was still trying to figure them out. But she just smiled cheekily.

"I'll stop calling you that when you stop getting annoyed, luv." Your digging your own grave raven. Soon she'll have James annoying her even more on this trip. Just great.
They were talking and teasing each other until the seat belt sign lit up, meaning that they were descending now. Raven loved the feeling of the plane falling, her stomach feeling queasy and her heart pounding made her feel like she's falling. Its also fun to look at the window while watching the small ant towns get bigger. "We're here!" She yelled excitedly.

By the time they got off the plane and left the airport, it 2:00 pm England time. Raven had her duffel but nearly dropped it when she saw her mum standing at the curb with a coffee in her hand.
"MUM!" Elizabeth Kenric looked up from her phone to her daughter, reacting poorly to when Raven squeezed her.

    please tell me you remember
james was nearly the first person off the plane. the son of Demeter hated flying. he would much rather be on the ground, because the ground is where the flowers are. and we all know james loves flowers.

james has never seen raven's mother in person. he has seen her several times during video chats, but other than that, raven's mum is a new person.

"ma'am." james said, standing a few feet away from the mother and daughter. seeing raven hug her mum made him miss his own, but he'll get to see her. and his dad, and all of his siblings.

    “you can't get
    mad

    fast.”

Elizabeth was looking strangely at James, the sorta way she looks at a drunken customer at her bar. Raven knew that face, it was the "i-don't-like-your-friend-for-obvious-reasons" face. That face always comes up when Raven introduces her friends to her mother and the Brit was scared of that face. Hopefully James, the polite prick, doesn't notice the face.
The cab driver was here and Elizabeth had left, probably to go pay. Raven dragged her best friend with her as she wheeled her stuff to the London cab. The trunk wasn't very big but Raven managed to fit her bag in there. James would have to have it in the passenger part with her.

"So where to first after the hotel?" The Brit asked as the two slid in the back. Elizabeth sat in the front, chatting with the driver.
