Mortal Parent: Blaire's mortal parent is her father, Zakari Akhtar. Since Zak was only 19 when Blaire was born, and he didn't know where he could find the mother, he ended up handing the baby over to social services. The father and daughter have not had any contact since then. Blaire's adoptive parents are Helena and Jeremy Sparks.
Godly Parent: Blaire's godly parent is Hecate, goddess of magic. She was claimed immediately upon arriving at camp.
Date of Birth: Blaire was born on October 13, 1998. She just turned 15.
Place of Birth: Blaire was born in New Orleans, LA. She was given to adoptive parents soon after birth and moved to Lawndale, NC, a tiny rural town about an hour from Charlotte.
Hometown: Lawndale, NC is a tiny rural town fairly far inland. It is connected to the town of Shelby and is a Shelby "offshoot" of sorts. Blaire went to the Shelby Bulldogs Elementary and Middle School and lived in a 3-story farmhouse on 10 acres of land. The area is very agricultural, with abundances of milk cows, potatoes, and corn. In back of the farmhouse are woods and a small river leading to the reclusive neighbor's property, and to the side is an expansive field where cattle and a few ponies are kept.
Last Residence: Right before Blaire was recruited for Camp Half-Blood, she attended a private boarding high school in CT, somewhere a friend of a friend went and suggested for the freshman student. Being very motivated, she took up a scholarship offer, and attended for five months until transferring to the Camp.
Race: Blaire is an interesting mashup of Persian, Russian, Irish, French, Hispanic, and Italian. She has curly brown hair, sharp almond-shaped blue eyes, and an olive skin tone. She also has Thalasemia trait from her Iranian side, which is a full quarter of her birth family.
Ethnicity: Blaire has a Southern accent from being raised in NC, and that's not the only thing she's picked up- her whole life, she's been the victim of merciless bullying due to her divergence from the typical white OR black OR Mexican cookie cutter. She's had to fight against developing prejudice and resentment toward those who tormented her. She WAS a Baptist, until she found out about her mother! And her views on politics? Let's just say: Pro-policy change, at best.
Accent: Blaire's Southern accent drops most r's and g's, stretches a's and o's, and puts h's in where h's do not belong. (Specifically referring to her personal accent-) when she is excited or angry, she tends to clip her words, and a trace of a French accent comes into play.

Powers: Blaire can manipulate the four elements (earth, air, fire, water) to a limited extent (the most powerful thing she can do with water for instance would be like mid-level Percy stuff), but her primary power lies in healing. She can heal minor injuries with a simple touch, and with some ambrosia, she can fix up just about anything short of a brain bleed or an arrow through a lung.

She made the move a weekend after she was accepted to the school, and began settling in after a few weeks more. She was very surprised to find others like herself at the school, and as she began to adapt and flourish, she attracted attention... positive, and negative. While many of her teachers loved the shy, studious girl, it always seemed like her Biology teacher Mr. Gray resented her success. As it turned out, Mr. Gray was a solidified ghost who had escaped before the Doors closed, and he feared even Blaire's undiscovered demigod status. The day he finally attacked her, she was rescued by a recruit team with bows, arrows, and lots of fireworks, and they took her back to CBH with them. The next morning she was claimed as a child of Hecate.

Not really listening to the woman's question about dinner, Blaire rose, put the knife back in her dresser, and locked the drawer. She pulled her shirtsleeve over the new wound and opened the door casually, sure her smile was just the right width to put any possible suspicion at ease.
"I'm sorry Mom- I couldn't hear ya that well with my headphones in. What is it?" She was asked again whether she would rather turkey or beef in meatloaf. Once she established that she had no preference, she gave another calculated smile and retreated once more behind the shut door.
