• Lucas Protew~is Kaylee's father, the one that had her with Athena. Lucas is 47 years old, born on May 8th, 1967. He is a doctor, pediatrician to be exact. He has been this for the past twenty-two years. Lucas has pale skin, black hair, and brown eyes. He has blue-rimmed glasses. He loves chess and reading, and can be classified as a 'geek.' Lucas enjoys classical music and his sister's food. On his free time, he enjoys fishing, preferably on his aunt, Kaylee's great aunt, the one mentioned in 'Names,' farm. He and Kaylee have a very strong fatherly-daughterly relationship. He can see through the Mist.
  
• Elja Roc~is Kaylee's aunt, Lucas' sister. She is 50 years old. Since her and Mark (which you will read about later), Kaylee's uncle, live with Kaylee, Lucas, Judy (which you will read about later), and Bobby (which you will read about later, again), her and Kaylee are very close. Kaylee always talks to her, and they share a mother-daughter bond in a way. Elja is a world famous chef, and makes very great food. She has tan skin, blonde hair, and green eyes. She often wears her hair in a braid and wears sundresses and sandals. She is a great help to Layla and her farm.
  
• Mark Roc~is Kaylee's uncle, married to Elja. He is 50 years old. He is a lumberjack/biologist, and a very active, hardworking man. Kaylee loves him, but out of her entire family, she probably dislikes him the most, because he is very quiet and is often away and hardly ever talks to her. He has brown hair, brown eyes, and pale skin, and often wears a typical lumberjack suit.
