Its A Mad Mad World

Thats not nice Rabid! Don't eat the flower's faces! i shouted at my old friend as I picked him up and made him spit out the flower. He didn't look happy about it, his red eyes looking redder than usual, but I did t care. The flowers were my friends and he was being mean.Hello friend! I smiled as I saw on of my floating friends. I read a book on them once and it said they were called Maniae and they were the spirited of madness but thats ok cuz they were kind to me and knew of my trip to Wonderland. How i missed that place. All i had as a reminder was Rabid, my lip piercing hatter gave me, and the Vorpal sword which hung at my waist. I still wore my usual attire that I did in wonderland but it wasn't as practical as I thought so i switched to this thing everyone called Stampunk. Today i wore a black corset, black ripped skinny jeans, black combat boots, and my usual moth necklace along with my fingerless gloves that reached my elbows. I loved the gloves. They were covered in buckles and it was fun to wear them. As far as makeup i wore dark eyeliner and a deep purple lip because it really reminded me of the berries and colors Hatter used to love.

Anyway, back to my friend. He sorta just stared at me then floated away screaming in agony. Oh well, most of them did that anyway.Stupid little Floater. YOU SHOULD LEARN MANNERS YOU BRUTE! I shouted after him. I didn't care if nobody else could see them, they still needed to learn manners. I set Rabid back down onto the forest floor, making him promise to be nice to the flowers, and skipped through the trees as my combat boots broke the twigs on the ground. The forest was pretty but the flower forest of Wonderland was even more spectacular.

Rabid's ears perked up and i noticed it within a second.What is it Rabid? A Bandersnatch? Jabberwocky? Eyepots? I drew my Vorpal sword and ran after Rabid, who took off in a dead sprint. I skidded to a halt in front of a boy who was both strikingly handsome and repulsive.Your not a Bandersnatch. i said as i put my sword away and watched as Rabbid sniffed at the boys feet before hopping over to me and letting me pick him up. I must have looked like a spitting image of myself from Wonderland, white rabbit and all.

A Bandersnatch is a huge beast that isn't afraid to kill and he used to have allegiance with the Red Queen till i saved him and he swore allegiance to me. I said frowning at the boy. He had no manners at all and that was not good for a demigod of any kind. He asked my name and i smiled at him. I am Alice Little and this is Rabid White.Pleasure to make your acquaintance Justin I said giving a bow and letting my British accent through. Father always said to not hide when your being formal and i quite enjoyed the way my voice sounded.

I scowled a the boy. a I would appreciate it if you didn't make fun of who I am. Wonderland is real, I've been there twice and its nothing like that fool Lewis Carroll described. Its a horrible place full of horrible creatures. i felt my anger spiking and set Rabid on the ground so I could ball my fists in anger and try to not loose my tempter. Hatter says an unfriendly temper is a bad temper. I am Alice Little, Daughter of Mania. I saw one of my friends floating behind Justin and he looked too pleased to see me angry so i calmed myself and glared at the stupid floater from earlier. I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO LEARN MANNERS! I shouted at the stupid floater, who merely did a mockery of what I had said. I scowled and pointed a finger at the stupid thing. YOU need to leave now before I draw my Vorpal sword and teach you manners myself you stupid little Maniae. Hatter would be less than pleased with how you are acting. At the mention of my sword the Maniae shrieked and flew away for good.

I saw the look on Justin's face and I could just feel sadness was over me.Im sorry. It was one of the Maniae and he a as being horribly impolite. i stared at Rabid who sat at my feet and looked at me with kind red eyes. I wish Hatter were here Rabid. He would understand what its like to be mad.

So you were teasing me about my home! Just because you've never seen the beautiful place doesn't mean its not there. I should send you to be fed to the Bandersnatch. I mumbled the last part. I could understand not knowing everything about Wonderland but there were those who never even believed me. I saw a Maniae float next to Justin and the thing looked at me with a sad expression. This was one of the Maniae I had befriended a few years ago and they were one of the kinder ones. I had named her Ivory because of the white queen that I used to rule with.I miss Wonderland, Ivory. Can I go back soon? I asked the kind Maniae who shook her head no, making a tear fall from my eye and role down my porcelain skin.

I looked at him in disbelief. He knew nothing of Wonderland! The Bandersnatch isn't mean anymore! He swore his allegiance to me after i banished queen Red and had Queen Gardinia take my place while I'm here and not there. The looking glass was broken so I'm stuck here in this worthless place with. I friends and no family. I frowned as i sat on a log and Rabid sat in my lap, allowing me to pet behind his ears.

My ears perked up and i looked up at Justin. Cute and friendly, just like hatter was. I felt tears well in my eyes and i sprang from my seat, dropping Rabid, hugging Justin. T...Thank you. I said as I hugged him tight. I didn't really have friends ever, not even my crew in Wonderland. It felt....it felt good to have people there for me, even if it was only one person.

Oh, sorry. I let go and felt myself blushing. Why on earth was i blushing?! I took a few steps back and tipped my hat down to try and hide my blushing cheeks in the shadow. There was no way I was going to let myself fall for a camper. I couldn't let that happen now, not when I'm so new.

Yes, Rabid and I wanted some fresh air but I guess we got lost in the beauty of it all. Reminds me of the Flower Forest of Wonderland, but I don't think you want to hear about a mad girls adventures. I said sitting on a log and folding my hands in my lap, watching Rabid hop around close by.

Justin was a nice guy, even if I knew it was a stereotype for children of Aphrodite to be kind and even slightly flirtatious. I smiled as he talked and looked up at the light filtering through the trees. Just like Wonderland before it all went to chaos. I said with a grim look turning back to face the ground and Rabid, who had started to sniff around for flowers to eat. I didn't care at the moment. I guess I was too sad to even think about it all.

No you don't. It's all chaos now. One step there and you could die. Red Queen left it in a wastelandish condition. Ivory Queen and I have been trying to fix it but it isn't working. Wonderland is now a place for the mad.I felt a tear role down my cheek but used a finger to wipe it away. I missed Wonderland, even if it was in chaos. It needed me on the red throne, without me it was barren and going to die.

I perked up a little when Justin mentioned Wonderland under my rule.Tis but a sad thing to see ones home turn to ruin. The heart break i had when I left Mim and Chessie was unbearable. It was beautiful when I was ruling as queen of the red court. The sky shone like a million black lights and the flowers would always talk of the creatures they met. I would visit Herman Hattington as often as I could for tea with him and March Hare. It was such a beautiful place when I went there the first few times. i said closing my eyes and smiling as I swayed slightly thinking of the dances and feasts i hosted and attended.
